You know one thing that struck me was the odd dresses the girls had on. You would expect boys to have jackets and ties on but the girls were either dressed like some kind of christian or maybe mormon off shoot cult (like warren jeffs people) or like really little girls. Like the girl onstage who is graduating in the sailor dress sort of thing. But CEDU was secular. Can anyone shed some light on this?
ROFFL.. omg, such a great point.
The sluttiness/levels of rawk on a dress a girl was allowed to wear at graduation was inversely proportional to how much they got ridden for being a slut while they were there. This rule is also true for how difficult it was for them to get <strike>holding hands</strike> dating privileges.
For example.. the girl pictured in the vid got endless slut flak throughout her entire interment because she was 1. pretty, and 2. liked teh boyz. Therefore, her dress had to fall somewhere inbetween a. an amish schoolmarm and b. a christian missionary. (she did actually end up getting dating privs, not sure how that happened.)
I, on the other hand, went through the program with the reputation of 1. a dyke, and 2. a man. Therefore, I ganked myself a longsleeved strapless burgundy velvet number, hemline above the knees, matching heels, and nobody said a damn fucking thing because they were unable to recover from shock.
Best drag I ever did... despite the fact I almost fell off my shoes.

And yes, the one in front sporting the jazz hands really was me.
