Jack,
Was the title you chose for this thread accurate? It's an update on YOUR case, not Woodside Trails. Woodside Trails is long gone, and rightfully so. No kid should have had to live in the squalid conditions of WT.
If you're innocent I hope that your name is cleared. Doesn't negate the fact that you functioned as an unlicensed "counselor" at WT and had an unhealthy relationship with one of the residents.

Woodside Trails- proud member of NATSAP (owner served on the board), shutdown by the state, changed the name to Eagle Pines Academy (private boarding school, exempt from licensure) and continued business as usual with the state's knowledge. It appears that they didn't survive financially. Can you confirm that Jack?

My case and Woodside Trails are linked. I feel ok with the title of this thread.

Deborah, I won't belabor the point further. I know for a fact, first-hand, that you are mistaken. I realize that no amount of argument or evidence will shake you from your belief. Nonetheless, you are wrong.

If I am innocent? Unbelievable. Have you seen this article: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... .36d9.html

Two administrative law judges ruled that there was no evidence. In fact, I'd be more than happy to send you their report. Is there a way to upload it here?

I did NOT function as an unlicensed counselor. That is total bunk.

and had an unhealthy relationship with one of the residents.

No, I did not and you should be ashamed of yourself for continuing to malign me. I didn't deserve it then and I don't deserve it now. I do not deserve your vitriol.

No, actually, much of what you just wrote is wrong, but correcting you on here isn't likely to matter much.

Deborah, I notice you, too, are from Texas. I am writing a book about my experience. However unreasonable I believe you to be in regards to WT and my work there, you clearly  have a legitimate point of view, as well as the ability to articulate it. I'd like to speak to you about Woodside Trails and my work there, and present your perspective as contrary to my own. I'll never understand how or why this happened without engaging in a dialogue with those who supported the closing of WT, in other words, those whose opinions are contrary to my own.

Please tell me you are willing to engage in a rational dialogue  regarding Woodside Trails and what happened to me? I'd be more than willing to provide you privately with my phone number? My email address is http://fornits.com/wwf/viewtopic.php?p=120646#120646
