Perry was convicted in the murder of 3 people in Texas (Conroe) and is currently on death row.  According to news reports and court testimony, Perry had a very troubled childhood and spent time in and out of foster homes and treatment programs.  His adoptive parents sent him to Casa By The Sea, a WWASPS behavior modification program in Mexico.

Correction: Perry was tried and convicted for the murder of Sandra Stotler.  Another young man has been charged in the death of her son and his teenage friend.  Not sure if this person has been tried yet.

perhaps we should move this topic to the WASP forum?
