pool of pain.. just dive in

Some people start out in the shallow end, and slowly work their way in. The water is too cold for them, they think going in slowly will make it easier.

Not me though.. I like to just cannon ball right the fuck in!

Toes curled over the side of concrete one last jump and suddenly surrounded by bubbles and darkness sinking into the pool of pain, provided to us care of our caring ignorant or cruel parents, left forever drowning at the bottom.

Illusions disappear submerged in this murky and colored resonance, a place outside of time and distance. Once descended it seems to open up into caverns and new paths collide and make new ones a truly ever changing environment.

Swimming in this sludge can be painful though, it's kind of like acid it burns your skin. The longer it's in contact directly with your body the more chance of getting hurt. The only way to relieve this pain is to surface every once in a while for a fresh breath.. a deep breath of illusion, a false sky and ground... stability that only goes so deep.

So take your pick. Go stand in the shallow end, dangle your feet in, the water is not getting any warmer, and your feet aren't getting any colder. It's time you just joined the rest of us and went for a dive.
Just don't forget to come up for a breath now and then.. you won't drown.. but that shit won't wash off after too much time down there... can't say you weren't warned.

Do be careful.

This isn't a swimming pool, but rather a lake.

And things live in this lake.
