"In the ten years I have known Isabelle I have never known her to lie and she is always a champion of what is right, especially when it comes to the welfare of children. I have seen her go to extraordinary lengths in this regard. When she says this needs doing, I believe her", Judy Hill Washington

Anyone else find this reference kind of odd.

I have never known her to lie?  Telling indeed.

Yea, sort of like someone saying, "He doesn't beat his wife ANYMORE."

Uh-huh.  It does reveal Hissabelle's credibility has come under fire and she's aware of it.  Circle the wagons and send for the nebulous references.  "I've never known her to lie" sounds like what a parent says when their kid is sitting in the principal's office, called down for lying.
