CEDU is closed.  Dead and buried.  Thanks mostly to people who posted on this site.  I'm GLAD it's boring.  That means these sick fuckers aren't abusing kids anymore.

yeah. Well, I hate to have to apologize for my feelings. That being said: I'm sorry, but I'm STILL pissed.

But UHS sprung right up in its place, and I only give it a year or two before BCA is running full steam just like it was. Same bullshit, different name. Is anyone keeping tabs on that place? Any news?

CEDU did not die because of people on this site.  It was a cash cow milked dry by more greed than Mel had...if that is conceivable.
The big kahunas...Elliot, LePere, submission counselor Riggs, etc. just went on to start or join other programs, carrying their portion of the CEDU plague with them.  Others continue to work with and dictate to kids.  Oh. Joy.

Can you tell us more about these people listed above did for/ with the CEDU system?

Where is the money headquarters for WWASPS? How much did Mel sell for anyway?

I also am curious about the change to using pharmacological and otherwise pychatropic medications for curing, and balancing and whatnot. I mean, wasn't that against the whole idea of CEDU? and did Mel W. sell the school before, during, or after that?

Wouldn't it be nice to understand the moneyflow of these places and how they attract greedy purveyors?

$$$$went to an some management group, not WWASP.  They were "investors" who made themselves CEO's and the like and collected a hefty monthly management fee.  CEDU was bought by Brown schools for about $40 mil...way over priced...Mel was laughing all the way to the bank.
I am not sure exactly when, but somewhere along the line, probably after Mel and during Brown Schools, CEDU learned the magic of psychotropics.
WEEEEEEE what a way to control!!!!!  Parents were really into it and that meant more $$$$$
Because, afterall, if my kid is crazy, it's not my fault!
Some shrink came up maybe once a month or less to see the kids he was writing scripts for...he'd spend a nano second with them.

Brandi Elliot ran the middle school, Lepere was a puppet high school director and ms. Riggs was a lying admissions counselor who would promise the moon...yeah, the kids snowboard all the time!
This is the perfect place for your kid, even though he'd been thrown out of other residentials and had a dual diagnosisi of schizoid affective disorder and fetal alcohol syndrome with an I.Q. of 65 and every learning disability in the book.
