Been spending time with an old lifer friend from 89/90, and it is like being a teen again.
"G" thank you for everything you have done for me lately.  I loved you then and I love you now.  I just wanted to say thanks. JC

Maybe you should grow up and stop behaving like a child.
Sounds like LIFE did not properly help you to prepare yourself for adult relationships.
Often people in the LIFE Program would tell me that they loved me while physically torturing me.
Maybe you "loved me then",but I will not give you the opportunity to "love me now" in the abusive LIFE Program style.

Well, im sorry you are so bitter, I was to for a very long time.  I do understand, I remember gettin the snot kicked out of me by so called, staff members.  I remember having to lie and make up stories, just to get to the next phase, but as I stated before, I made some good friends.
Did you have any experiences that were positive?  Did you not make any friends?
As for acting like a child, sometimes it is nice to step away from the norm, and reconnect with old friends, and just let your hair down.
I have ajusted quite well, I am actually a fairly successful adult.

The most positive experience was watching some abusive phaser get started over and be subjected to pay back abuse.

I did not make friends there any more than the kind of "friend" you make when you are forced to share tight quarters with people in jail, you make the best of a bad situation.

This board is best used as a place to post the names of your abusers, and their telephone numbers if possible.
Get together with your great friends from the program, put your heads together, and start naming names. ::unhappy::
