The Troubled Teen Industry / CASA CLOSING
« on: October 07, 2004, 06:03:00 PM »
Ginger,

I agree that many know or have some idea, I'm trying to convince these idiots that it shouldn't be happening.  Same as attempting to convince a lawyer to take a case, they too are ignorant as to the extent of abuse in these "insitutions".

This is the hump in the road...so to speak!  Eventually, someone has to listen, or at least here me out!  Most politicians that I have personally spoken with come off with the "buyer beware" slogan.  Hell, even the lady with coffee in her lap got more than that from her issues?

Just my POV.

Regards,

Lee

EASY...anitasue...I resemble that remark & am on YOUR side pertaining to this issue at hand.  HeHeHe!

I personally would like to think that the Republicans don't currently know or care about this whole issue of "behavioral mods" that has been created by society?s own doing.  It ain?t so though?they do know and as to whether they care is yet to be seen.  No one with any pull to date has had enough courage to stand up on the rooftops & scream ?STOP THIS SHIT!?

Just from my experience with my current local & state administration...the attitude is that it is a "buyer beware" issue.  You, your ex-husband, me, & many others before us...have chosen to place our children in these places.  I have been informed personally...Which means to me & me alone that legislation needs to be established & then enforced; contrary to what others believe on this board to discourage families from sending loved ones off for others to "raise" or be "fixed".

Regardless of what anyone says in my opinion?NO ONE will ever be ?fixed? by any of these so called child ?warehouses?.  Just my opinion, I was duped into thinking differently at one time & have regretted every minute since that day.

Just curious & have been recently researching homeopathy medical practices;

DID YOU KNOW THAT...

? ADHD is a psychiatric diagnosis with no valid test to prove it exists.

? ADHD was voted into existence by a show of hands.

? Side-effects of the drugs used for ADHD include psychosis, paranoia, aggression, heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias  and high blood pressure.

? Ritalin has the same dependency profile as cocaine.

? Ritalin treatment predisposes takers to cocaine's reinforcing effects.

? The United States uses 90% of the world's Ritalin supply.

Regardless of who cares for whom & how old they are is not the point at this particular moment!  Just MY POV!!!

The safety of the children is in question...I really do wonder if the U.S. Embassy is doing anything right now to protect those children currently at TB.

Maybe someone should be contacting them pertaining to the weather issues at hand?  The Embassy has been contacted before pertaining to the children's safety alone, prior to any of these current weather conditions; but to no avail.  According to the WWASP contract, the school is not responsible in any situation like this.

So the children are basically on their own!!!

I'll bet this makes a bunch of parents proud of their decision to send a child to a foreign country?

This alone should deter people from sending children abroad?  Not to mention all of the allegations these bogus "behavioral modification schools" have currently levied against them by numerous former inmates.

PARENTS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN...PLEASE CONSIDER RETURNING THEM TO THEIR HOMES FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY & YOUR PIECE OF MIND...

Ginger,

In my opinion...if it counts?  I've never seen, heard or witnessed any of the items you mentioned in your last post.

Nor was anyone ever kicked out of an "inner circle".  What we had was a group of parents that exchanged information between households pertaining to everything under the sun.  It just so happened that all of us had previously had children who attended a behavior modifications program.

I personally have a tape of a one hour conversation that I had with Dace Goulding at Casa BY The Sea pertaining to my son, my family & me.  I've never been asked or needed to produce it as evidence, nor will I until WE go to court.

I've personally never heard anything about any garbage cans?  New one on me...but with their current records & accusations against them...it wouldn't surprise me.

I've heard of the photos of cages...and would tend to believe that they exist since I know the individual that has them.  Never met them, but spoke many hours on my PC with.  That's their choice what they do with their possessions & I have no say in the matter!  That's it, the end...some people read MORE into situations than there really is.

As for the other individual that you mentioned...me personally...again my opinion...they were on a divorce adventure...not a child saving mission.  Again...my personal opinion...

I myself have just been privy to other information that was produced in the Utah federal court.  It didn't surprise me...I wasn't involved in the law suit nor a witness in the end.

Deborah;

Carey's contribution...was that she cashed a check from the "program" to turn over her bank owned PC to provide the plaintiff with information to support their case against people who disagree with the "programs" teachings of warehousing children.  She was a pawn in the "program's" attempt to silence the many parents who dispute what has happened to their children or grand-children.

Just my opinion?for what it?s worth.

Regards,

Lee

Ginger,

If you'd have told me three years ago that there were corporations that housed & abused children located here in the US...I'd have called you a liar...so YES my eyes have been opened very wide ever since witnessing these organizations first hand.

But now...I'll never give up on my children or any others for that matter in my old age.

Free speech has always been welcomed in MY house...not always agreed with but listened to.

Lee

In this case...and my opinion...I guess you could say I support freedom of speech when it's directed towards a corporation or business that tries to hide or silence its victims.  YES!

On the hypocrite side;

As long as it's the truth... I don't have a problem with someone speaking their mind.  I don't think it should harm individuals...however, in my favor...if I'm trying to convey a point who the hell cares!  Although, this process would probably warrant a law suit against ME personally.

My biggest issue would be the truth...of the matter!

This trial just proves...now this is my opinion...that someone may go out and spread the truth about someone harming them in some form or fashion.  Now who gets to decide harm?...I guess my son will find out whenever his legal experts get through with wwasps and their settlement offer?  I've yet to see it...been informed that it was on the way.

Would I ever sell out just to get MY money back...no, it's the principle & my hard head that get in the way.

Regards,

Lee

Ginger,

This is a very big victory for free speech...it's also a huge victory for parents against BIG business concerning their children...and these so called "programs" pertaining to children & their welfare.

This case alone should open some doors for many of the previous victims of these so called "experts" in the industry.

Let the good times roll...

Lee[ This Message was edited by: turbinekat on 2004-08-06 16:33 ]

Yes, Ginger...It is my understanding that a NOT guilty verdict was handed down on ALL accounts against the accused just minutes ago!!!  Grant it, this is second hand news...even if it is from five different people who were in the court room.

I didn't have the pleasure to see it in person...some of us have to work for a living!  No what I mean?

This should open the door for many more...just proving wwasps is NOT untouchable!!!

Lee

No opinion of this what so ever...Carey

I don't even know a Randall, nor do I have any privy to your top secret documents.  Care to enlight me?

This maybe a prime example of the difference in our two seperate quests.  You are trying to expose "X" & I'm working on my quest ("Y").  Notice the difference.

Lee

Carey,

You are heading for the deep end again.  That's why I quit conversing with you earlier!!!

Nuts...NOT!  Fighting her battle...NOT!  She has attorneys for this case, she doesn't need me for anything involving "w vs. p?.  Either that or she hasn?t asked me to do anything.   That is just your assumptions of this whole case.  You have no facts to back up any of your allegations you continue to accuse me of.

YOU know I'm tied up in her legal battle!!!  What a farce, that sure is a new one on me...I couldn't even tell you what her lawsuit is entirely about.  I don't even care what her suit is about.  I'll explain this once again...I have a beef with an organization, not you, not anyone else.  How simple can that be NOT to understand?  However, I have in my quest run across many of the individuals of which some you don?t get along with.  So be it...get over it...

I have an opinion just like you on all of these issues, but I don't force feed them to anyone.  Just like your idol states..."agree to disagree"...move on.

I believe if you'll look back in your archives of emails...remember the ones you sold to wwasp's, I probably informed you of my family's dealings with wwasp & that's about it.    I have a quest of my own to contend with.  When I'm ready for the public to know about it...believe me...you'll be the first to know.  Along with everyone else on this forum.

FYI;   I found your deposition info. via common carrier at my office door one morning.  It appeared to be some form of a mailing list?it may have been wwasp, or Sue, or either of the attorney's, not sure since it has been awhile.

I hope all of this info. Assists you in your quest.  Best regards & kindest wishes,

Lee

anon.

You may want to attempt your question again.  I don't recall my son opting out at eighteen?

Never mentioned anything about him not being abused, either?

Blame...Not at all!

Please get YOUR facts straight, they are way off the mark.

When & where have I protected anyone?  Please advice...Where is it listed or when did you conclude my information comes from others?  I get my own information...that I need.  I could care a less what you have or anyone else for that matter.  I just find it ironic that you are proceeding like the others before you & not giving the public ALL of the information!  That's it!!!

You exposing "child abuse"...what are you going to do?  Loan me the dirty money wwasp's paid for renting a PC?  Don't think so!!!

Carey, I've been doing this for awhile longer than you have.  I currently do not need any help from any passer byers.  I'm in this for the long haul, always have been, always will be.  I can investigate MY complaints all by myself.  Thanks for the offer though.

Kindest Regards,

Lee

With the two most honest people in question here, this shouldn't take to long to post their anon responses?  Unless...we are editing them or to chicken shit to post them?  Which is it, oh master of this public web forum?

Kindest Regards,
