Even if she did, why do you automatically assume he was there for it? Assumptions are rediculous.

They're called the police... and to avoid any confusion with the band by the same name, I've been nice enough to look up the definition on dictionary.com :

"Also called police force. an organized civil force for maintaining order, preventing and detecting crime, and enforcing the laws."
