Id not only pay more taxes, but I would contribute a substantiAL amount of money torwards such a cause.Just think if all the parents that payed for these schools would pay to start a program as that there would be NO REASON why that couldnt be a reality. SO, WHY CANT IT HAPPEN???

Apparently this school along with 12 others have been linked together with Horizon Academy.. If this is a WWASP let me know. Im totaly unfamiliar with navigating this or any other web site. I would give the page of the list of other schools but dont really know how I stumbled upon it... ok then -lulli

Open Free for All / We know the problem but is there a solution

I cant help but think about a solution to the "troubled teen " problem. Now days teens are struggling enough, I cant imagine the pressures that they face in this fast paced race we call life. With the rappers singing about the ghetto and gettin rich quick scheme, and parents that say you wont amount to anything. Global warming on the rise, girls who wish they were guys,  trying to find where to fit in, I just wish someone would step up and change all this bullshit brainwashing non reality schools. I think all the employees and founders of these places would care and do something realistic to help kids. The whole thing is messed up

The Troubled Teen Industry / horizons academy

The place is the 2nd one. I am worried about him, allthough he did survive and escaped sucsessfully from the family school after spending a long and torturas 18 months there. When he got out of there he was so depressed and had no self identity at all. I have a feeling though this will drive him over the edge. He is an addict, other than that he is a wonderful guy. Right now he is detoxing off oxycontins and im sure they offer no pity at the school. I tried getting in contact with someone there to talk to them, but no luck so far, ill keep trying. It seems worse than the Family School in New York by far.
