Iam possibly going to be a lone dissenter here, but I can see the reasoning for bubble wrapping kids, if mandatory sentencing for god knows how long is what kids face as penance for their youthful indisgresions. (see the straight discussion on cops against prohibition)

I agree in principal with Anne bonney that some kids just take the teenage thing pretty far but eventually grow out of it & make their own way in the world in good time. But if they genuinely are at risk of a harsh jail sentence, parents cant be blamed for being scared. How is a parent reasonably supposed to balance out the fact that kids will be kids with the fact that the legal system can seriously fuck things up for them and make their future pretty bloddy bleak?

Go with your gut...trust yourself...im not gonna give my kids too many opportunities to ask the local weirdo for a cig and some beer.

And as far as confidentiality goes, I've seen and have

heard from others that one of the posters to your

board has used real first and names on Fornits.  

I used first names on here...a few times...sorry...my bad...i will never ever ever ever do that again, I swear!

Uhhh...i have no info on GT...but at life...it really didnt make sense while i was there but after i 7th stepped and got a chance to use my NEW decision making skills, i understood that i needed help with learning consequences of my actions/assholish behaviors something that my parents tried to do but i wouldnt have any of it. Out of fear i listened to these strangers and learned about talking, confronting issues before they got out of hand and blew up in my face or others. I might have learned it just by living through my early years without help but in my case i feel that i would have alienated all my family and possibly hurt myself or others in my life. PLUS...i still can 5 point restrain with the best of em!!! makes for fun in the bedroom!!!J/K!! :lol:
