Doe anyone know of a kid name Matthew Churchill. I think his name was matthew churchill, I absolutely know his last name was Churchill. He was in elan I believe from 2001-? If anyones got info, or might have been there when he was there, please post back.

My memory is shot. I am trying to remember the 5 feelings we could drop slips on people for. All of remember is Anger, and Jealousy. Does anyone remember the three others?

Elan School / MMR

Does anyone remember MMRs as new residents? I think it was the song (your first one), the poem, the weather, the sports, the news, and I think there was something else. If we didn't get the newspaper that day, MMR's were screwed! We would like take news from papers months ago, and the poem, OMG that was so lame and ridiculous!
But anyways do u guys remember any funny stories about MMR's or maybe the first song you sang? Mine was "lean on me", cause it was the only song I like knew all the words to that was appropiate to sing. Marc Rosenburg made me sing it twice cause I was so quiet and mousy about it, and than he said "you need to belt it out momma" I was like okay....

Elan School / What are these peoples problems?

I am having a hard time understanding why people are coming onto this board, and using it to vent their anger towards innocent people.
I like coming here to find people from when I was in elan that I wouldn't ordinally be able to find otherwise. I don't come here to see other people get verbally abused by weidos who have unresolved issues. A lot of people get scared awy from this board because of this issue.

Elan School / Records from elan

I know this thread has already been posted but I am too lazy to search for it, so I wondering how I attain my records from elan. I don't just want my school records, I want all that I can get. I left elan in oct 1999, and I heard from someone that there is a time limit on getting them, I hope I haven't passed that limit, let know if any of you know how I can get them.

Does andyone know what happend to Nicole? She was one of my favorite people in elan, but after she left I never heard from her, or about what she was doing.

Elan School / Elan 7 and 8 merger?

Does anyone know why elan 7 moved into elan 8, I did a drive through the elan campus this past October and elan 7 was still standing, but vacant. I thought maybe elan was under-enrolled?

Elan School / The Ghost of Elan 8

Does anyone have any elan 8 ghost stories? The ghost that haunted the CM or the office to the left of the attic.
I used to sit on back post pulling, and I would hear things banging upstair (when no one was even up there), and see things out of the corner of my eyes, and even one time I was sitting on the stairs and felt cold breath on the back of my neck.
There were other stories from residents, but I have to say I used to get an eerie feeling when in that office, and I refused to pull alone in that that office as an SP.

I went to see fahrenheit 911 today, and I highly, highly recommend you go see it if you haven't already, not only is it wickely funny, but it also gave me a better perspective of things, eventhough it's bias it's also honest and revealing.

Elan School / GI dorm day

Does anyone remember GI dorm day? I think that was what they called it. It was Sunday mornings before Brunch, and we would all clean out our drawers, bed boxes, and closets with a GI sponge.
I never understood why we cleaned our bed boxes were our toothbrushes and "hygiene proucts" were with a sponge that was used to clean the floors and sometimes toilets day in and day out for months. A lot of our time spent at elan was filled up with busy work and absolutly pointless activities! I swear to god when I was there they only changed our sponges like 3 times.
