This report by the Service Employees International Union alleged that "understaffing and poor case management at Universal Health Services' behavioral treatment centers led to sexual abuse, runaway patients, assaults and other problems," and documented, at the time (surely a greater number by now), "more than 50 incidents of abuse, improper treatment and alleged violations at UHS facilities across the country." *
