Republicans Sink Bill to Prevent Abuse in Teen Behavior Schools (http://http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alex-koroknaypalicz/republican-support-for-ch_b_792730.html), The Huffington Post
We hope that some of you will start some letters to your local Senator. The bill is of course not perfect but like all things you have to start somewhere.
In Denmark the first bill against corporal punishment was introduced decades ago. Now it is even forbidden for parents to hit their own child which is a good thing. But it has been a process with many small step and if you don't take the first step you will never climb the stairs.
So think as HR 911 as the first step so you can proceed with the next in some years.
Please, write some letters.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention Oscar. Maybe you should also post this in the Teen Help Industry and News forums?

The senate has a Democratic majority now.
H.R. 911 already passed a Democratic house.
