Love this little piece of info (http://http://www.crosscreekprograms.info/index.html):

"Because states like California don't have schools for struggling teens, Cross Creek is ideally located in the southwest corner of Utah."[/list]

I did hear that CA has stricter restraint and other laws, so many choose to operate in more lenient locales. Fun.

It looks like a very professional website with good testimonials.  I think these boarding schools can really help troubled teens.  Unfortunately for some teens, their current surroundings are not conducive to success.  Sometimes a boarding school with strict guidelines and rules is greatly in their best interest.  I am thinking of sending my kids to one despite lack of intense problems.  Has anyone heard of the chrysalis school montana (http://http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chrysalis/120062294679207)?

:roflmao: ... Oh sure, a "very professional website with good testimonials" is an excellent substitute for reality any day!

I can see how desperate parents, seemingly at the end of their wits, sometimes fall prey to these unethical marketing schemes. But why would you, experiencing an apparent "lack of intense problems," even consider such a thing?

You are either egregiously misinformed, missing some key components as far as your parental instincts are concerned, or you are an inexperienced troll. Which is it?

Is it the same Cross Creek that kidnapped and tortured Xander in to make her ex gay?
You bet.
