Soon there will be a site up just for cedu and its various incarnations. I hope everyone will contribute their testimony. The bastards still living should be put in jail, and its not too late.

How new and how soon?
For the old timers that were there pre 1993 - 'the bastard' is the founder - Mel. Surely Mel put his Brown payout into a wasserman family trust.
Therefore the wasserman trust beneficiaries bank accounts are rife with money inherited from a trust that was originally funded by fraudulent means.
At the very least they should admit to this fact, repurpose the money and use it to make amends for their wrongdoing.
Better yet let's keep it simple - simply refund the damn cash to the parent's that were duped in the first place.
And for all the programmies out there - just keep writing checks to the Wasserman clan until your blue in the face. After all Mel saved your life. You can't put a price tag on that. You're forever indebted to his greatness. So get off your lazy ass and write his trust some more checks you cheapskate.

There has to be a way for us survivors to get together and file a class action lawsuit against that bastard.

Thanks dishdutyfugative, That is not a good suggestion. Most donors know that all donations are currently being handled by Fenton Talbot (out of LAWRENCE, KS.) until further notice. The Huffington Post is being approached to help coordinate and get the word out to locals that donations will be secured thru Talbot advisors, Inc.on the grass root level until after the election. We will send a notice out to break down the results of the donations after the close of business on 11/7/2008.

Chances are this guy was having fun with the thread topic (new cedu site) and decided to mix things up by seguing into a completely unrelated (but current) topic. This topic being presidential campaign finance reform.

There has to be a way for us survivors to get together and file a class action lawsuit against that bastard.
I wish you could but alas the bastard up and died. Hopefully the Wasserman trust money was all in mortgage-backed secruities and equally tasty derivitives.

It sort of is, with the statute of limitations on most crimes / civil actions, though there is a chance of civil action by newly released survivors of CEDU clones.

In all honesty, I doubt there's a way to sue. And, who is left to sue?
All we can really do is to warn parents before they throw their kids in any lion's den.
Oh, by the way; I found our good friend from Runnin Springs, Dan Earle on the internet. He looks older then fuck, and totally trashed out.

Someone I knew who used to be a teacher when I was there said that Dan is out of the industry and is doing sculpture now.

Why the hell are people talking about suing Mel Wasserman? he may have been teh founder but it was the staff there who did the actual damage why aren't people talking about suing Marci Padgett, Tim Brace, Barb Cass....who by the way are all working with kids still...and the other staff who screwed people up? They all used to meet and decide how to fuck with people......When do they become responsible for what the hell they actually followed through on?
