From the Synanon manual:

“Twelve persons, say, enter a room in which a dozen chairs are arranged in a circle. One of several of these persons is an accomplished game player. Face to face they confront each other with the consequences, or probable consequences, of their behavior.

When finally the man can answer, his reply will be wholly inadequate. Then it will be ridiculed.”

“He will react…and the game will be turned on him next and his masculinity called into question. How he defends will reveal how he really feels about himself and his work.”

In almost every game on hears the defense, “You’re projecting on me!” and the inevitable rejoinder, “Projections can be valid.” … and for this reason it is impossible to say anything wrong in a game.

I'm in editing, and will be for a few months. We'd like to move it to the festival circuit after that, but many clips will be made available before that/simultaneously.

Working on it, day by day. It's more than painful at times! I tell my good friends, "Today, I'm getting up, reading the paper, taking a walk...and then going to Cedu for 6 hours."

It's just like that. And then the dreams, the dreams and memories. Catharsis is more than a word! It's a very bloody process at times.

Please do come by the blog and post your thoughts and recollections. Having a public record of the process is helpful, does inspire me to keep going - it's always nice to hear from the members of the "club!" Also, post or drop an email with any good updates or info, more info is always helpful to the research process.
