Anyone know if there are any studies on the parents who send their children to these programs?
Specifically, studies that would offer insight into the PARENTS personality, emotional and physical health, level of education, marital history, age, profession, income, etc.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a demographics study which was completed in ’04 and another one is due out in Q2 of next year. What we were also looking for was the mean socioeconomic status of the families looking to place children.
The initial data we went after (for the ’04 report, population 11,000 households) was the following:
Age
Income
Sex
Occupation
Education
Location
Present health
Marital status
Net worth
Number of children
Number of marriages
Race
Religion
History of depression (4 questions)
History of mental illness (16 questions)
Adoption history (3 questions)
Abortion history (6 questions)
Corporal punishment beliefs (27 questions)
Children (37 questions per child).
In the ’07 study we expanded to take a closer look at personality traits and family dynamics as well as a few questions dealing with child rearing activities leading up to placement (population 27,000).
If you would email me privately at: thewhomail@gmail.com
I am sure I will not be able to release the raw data but I may be able to get you some summary reports if I can get them released for public view.

Hahahah... no.
Now that we've dealt with TheWho, are there any real studies done on these people?

If you believe anything thewho says, you are fucked in the head as much as he is.

.
Crazy, negligent, or outright abusive. They won't pull you unless they get lonely, or they need to collect your corpse. Or, if they're divorced they'll pull you to get back at the ex, and they're lonely, and possible $ form possible class actions. They're a bad bunch in a bad network.

A resounding "FUCK YOU" to CCM and Who!

Oh.. dear me... you missed the memo.. It is no longer good form to hold parents responsible for their shite parenting skills. Apparently some of them take it personally.
