Hawley Stevens- History teacher
Tom Ring- English teacher
Brooke ?- AC
and most of the wilderness staff from 1999, Tony ect.

also that psuedo-native american guy with the feather and the guitar who sang that "all my creations are related to you" song.

thanks for making it bearable guys.

the list of power hungry, malevolent staff could go on forever. its quicker just to name the few exceptions to the rule

congratulations.

of course i'm aware of allegations against some staff alleging recreational drug use. I'm also aware of far worse allegations against UNMENTIONED staff including assault and battery.

THIS IS IRRELEVENT IN THIS TOPIC. I WILL ADDRESS IT ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN.

i do not give a damn if the good guys had a bad habit or if they got in trouble or if amy lynn used allegatiatons about them to get their job.

these people helped kids. H-E-L-P-E-D.

I was, AND STILL AM, very close to some of those people, and NEVER ONCE at HLA or after did any of them ever condone or even MENTION drug use.

Some people came to work and made my life miserable. If their mom was sick and I didn't know did that somehow mitigate the hurt from the way they treated me? Hell no it didn't.

So if the few staff that spent their time genuinely enriching my life had a personal life that was "out-of-agreement", it also did nothing to change the fact that they helped (remember how we learned to spell that earlier?) , i repeat, HELPED me.

so no, my friend, it is in NO way signifigant.

I suspect that there is no one here without a skeleton or two in his or her closet. This topic is for people to give credit to the people who were not negative, so there is simply no room for your anonomous negativity here. If you wish to denounce any of the people that made my life, or or the lives of anyone else who posts here, better, please start your own topic.

Especially a therapeutic school. Also... I am not an HLA apologist so you can spare me the comments about all the other ways HLA was harmful to the kids. I am aware of those to. I am merely pointing out one more.

While he didn't personally help me, he didn't do anything to hurt me or anyone else I knew.
But I'll argue that his renditions of Bobby McGee and Thunder Road made me forget how miserable I was for a few seconds on that gym floor.

And Aaron was also nice, but I wasn't athletic enough to really get to know him.
