No. And there never will be. One of Fornits' main strong points is its archive. Deleting any username you might have had turns all your previous conversations into half-conversations and makes the old posts hard to follow.

In theory if you had a really good reason you could get Ginger to do it, but I won't.

The user name can be changed, if that would meet your needs. Provided that feature is available on this new venue.

Yes it is available, just make sure your email address is valid before changing your name or you'll get locked out of your own account.

Glad this all worked out ok. For the record, though, I'd do it without many questions. Two, actually; How can you verify authorship? and Are you sure?

It may mess things up sometimes, and it is rather a chaotic move. Some folks have had lots of good fun with it, too, I'm sure. But my policy is just as I state in the terms of use; the author owns the words. And, by default, you have a right to change or even destroy what you own.
