Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) July 27, 2006 -- Teen Revitalization has launched a new website that contains unique information for parents with troubled teens. The website includes a hand-picked directory of effective residential treatment centers, teen programs and specialty boarding schools. There is also a free online child assessment tool and more.

Teen Revitalization -- http://www.troubledteenprograms.org (http://www.troubledteenprograms.org) -- contains information that is not traditionally found on similar troubled teen programs' websites. Some unique features of the website include:

1. Twenty or more troubled youth programs and schools are in the directory. http://www.troubledteenprograms.org/index.html (http://www.troubledteenprograms.org/index.html)
2. Detailed information on each program including cost, location, and specialty.
3. An online child assessment tool.
4. Success stories (testimonials) from parents as well as students.
5. An informative video about the different schools and programs.
6. Parent support newsletter focusing on troubled youth.
7. FAQ and common concerns section to answer common questions.
8. Financial aid information and FAQ.
9. Online troubled teen program loan application.
10. Online request form to schedule a tour at a facility
11. Warranty information describing how the programs will give free services if unsuccessful.
12. Online request form to have a personal consultation to get more information.

The website currently lists 20+ troubled youth programs; each has its direct costs listed so parents can know up front what the fees are without having to call the treatment center directly. There is also an online child assessment tool that parents can use to gauge how ?at-risk? their own son or daughter is compared to others. The assessment provides a solution plan based on the questions answered on the questionnaire. The website has several success stories from those who have used the services of the represented youth programs.

Success stories are grouped into two categories: parents and students. Parents can get a better idea of how a student views the programs as well as what parents think of the programs. The website contains an informative video about the youth programs and youth schools on the website. There are several informative publications including a FAQ list, common concerns answered, and parent support newsletters. Parents can obtain valuable information on financial aid and apply for a student loan directly online. Parents who wish to view a facility in person or talk to someone about their options can call a listed toll-free number or fill out an online request form.

The website was designed to give power to the parents by giving as much information as possible to those who are struggling with parenting a teenager. The information will empower them to make sound decisions to ensure a positive relationship with their children.

I can't help but laugh!!! I love the new name.....Teen Revitalization! Puhleese!!! Then when they go into the programs.........they're so vague. They can't even put the names of the programs on there, because what? Because their reputation is catching up with them?

Nice try!

Parents should wonder who and how they came up with the so called 'child assessment' yes or no test they have on their website. Do parents take this kind of thing seriously? Lets just say I knew the dude who built these websites and he told me that he made this stuff up as he went along. WWASPS does not care. Notice their website is somewhat nicer than it used to be, but still shitty compared to normal web standards these days. Thats because reputable web designers (ie young people) will not help a child abuse business create an online presence.

GOtta love their pic in the upper right hand corner, it captures the look of anyone reading through their tripe. THe lady is almost saying "this sure sonds like bullshit, are you trying to scam me?" That was not an accident, believe me!

Holy shit that website is scary!!! I wonder which moronic editors decided to publish the press release as "news."

The "assess your child" quiz is friggin' hysterical and oh-so-scientific. If you answer even ONE question YES, you get a score of "moderate risk" which is supposed to tell you that your kid is not yet totally fucked up but you might want to consider residential lockdown anyway.

I can't believe these WWASP bastards can get away with not identifying themselves or their programs. You gotta love the description of the "Jamaica Residential Treatment Center."

They should include a Parent Assessment quiz with questions like:

1. Are you incapable of parenting your child?
2. If capable of parenting, are you tired of doing it and need a break?
3. Do you believe your child would have turned out better if you had done more spanking, punching, yelling, grounding, withholding food, and belittling when he or she was younger?
4. Does your child's behavior drive you to consume 5 or more ounces of alcohol each day? Note: one beer, one glass of wine or one mixed drink contains one ounce of alcohol.
5. Do you have at least $60,000 available in either home equity, retirement fund, or other liquid assets? If not, please speak to our very understanding loan officer.

Scoring:

If you answered yes to question 5, then your child is most likely an ideal candidate for one of our residential programs.

P.S. -- This post was written by a parent -- one who has an IQ greater than 50.

25. Is your child frequenting internet chat rooms, accessing pornography or displaying a preoccupation with sex

OMG THE INTERNET NOOOOO! They're accessing... chat rooms! The horror! The horror!

Teenagers experimenting with sex? WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU EXPECT?! If my children weren't showing interest in sex at 15 or so, I'd be worried!

BTW, those Photoshops are absolutely awesome, particularly the one with the severed head. Keep 'em coming.

Apparently these referral outfits have a thing for "tests"

Check out this questionaire on Parent and Teen Resources, the website reportedly that belongs to Marie Peart (her name is on the contact page).

Wasn't Marie Peart once affiliated with WWASPS?  Admissions Director of CCM?  Thought I read that somewhere but I could be mistaken.

Marie Peart has also been said to work with PURE.

Anyway, check out her test questions.

My Cliff notes on Marie Peart consist of Patti Peart Lichfield being Bob Lichfields wife and Patti and Marie are sisters. Marie running Majestic Ranch at sometime, or still is? She bad mouthed BL by saying he was evil in the TB Documentary. So, I dunno that's all I have, or all I gathered? Maybe somebody has something else to say?

I could be mistaken..........Peart name was involved in Majestic Ranch. I thought on that film she did an interview with her and the head school master on the TB DOC? Try keeping all these names straight! All the families interlinked it gets confusing!

According to ISAC documents: Marie Peart worked as a marketer  for WWASP for approx. 6 years on the premises of Cross Creek.
Her husband, Blaire Peart worked for Cross Creek, too.
A relative, Dan Peart owned and operated Majestic Ranch.
There is mention of Marie Peart's involvment in some retail fraud matter.

Marie Peart is quoted as the "Admissions Director" of Cross Creek in the Contra Costa Times article, "Going Through Phases"
www.intrepidnetreporters.com/TeenHelp/c ... s.htm-46k- (http://www.intrepidnetreporters.com/TeenHelp/contra_costa_times.htm-46k-)

It is common knowledge that Marie Peart has worked with Sue Scheff PURE for years.

Not sure what this new website of Peart's is all about.

Seems like lots of Scheff's friends are whipping out websites here lately: Peart, Paula Reeves just to name two.  Maybe they just enjoy computers.

Took the time to read Marie Peart's webpage. Amazing.
Peart advertises that her service is 100% Free.
Says:  "We are the experts."
Claims she has evaluated the programs for "professionalism, stability and effectiveness."

She advises parents: "We will help you identify teens problems or disorders and help develop an effective treatment strategy."

Then she goes on to warn the parents, "Do not waste time contacting specific programs.....WE KNOW ALL THE PROGRAMS."

Hopefully not one parent will read this, and seriously believe this woman is qualified to diagnose children over the internet/phone, and honestly knows about ALL PROGRAMS, or that she seriously works FOR FREE.

Not all schools and programs are alike. says Marie Peart.

Right.  Just as not all referral services are alike.  Some refer just to WWASPS.  Others steer parents away from WWASPS to programs they like.  Not sure why, could it be they get a commission or their own kid went to some program and was miraculously transformed into a happy magical child?

Who knows with this business.  It's unregulated.  Anybody can wake up one day and call themselves a teen helper.  Who is to stop them?  The programs?  Hardly think they even care since without kids, they ain't got no program.  Just a big ole' ranch with a lot of livestock and chores to tend to and nobody to do them free of charge (meaning the kids under the guise of teaching them respect for hard work).

Yeah, seriously. Maybe we should wake up tomorrow as program consultants and refer the kids to really cool vacations and stuff, and tell the parent what they need to hear. It works the other way around, so why not this way too.

That idea has actually been bandied about before. There's a reason it can't work, though. Basically the kids would have to be truly excellent actors- act like they're being abused and not allowed to talk about it- and they'd also need to keep You-do-NOT-talk-about-Fight-Club silent about how the place is run. Not happening in real life.

The critical impossiblity would be when the kids come home articulate, intelligent young men and women instead of the brainwashed meat puppets their parents were hoping for. There's no way they'd ever fake being the latter.

The place would eventually be sued for- although they'd hardly phrase it this way!- not inflicting enough abuse.

I wonder how long a fake escort service could last before word got out that the kids weren't being delivered to the sadism camp of choice?

Download "The GIMP"

It's a freeware graphics program that's the rough equivalent of photoshop.

It's worth playing around with even if you don't end up making a long term hobby out of it, because it makes it much easier for you to recognize a photoshopped photo at a glance.

Patti Peart Litchfield and Marie Peart are sisters.  Marie Peart is not affiliated with WWASP anymore, but was involved with them in the 90's.

Marie Peart's husband is Blair Peart.  Marie Peart's son is Dan Peart, which makes Dan the nephew of Bob Litchfield.  Dan Peart is the one affiliated with Majestic Ranch.
