Elan was on 60 Mins back in the eariy 80s . Dose anyone remember that, or know how to get a copy of it? I was the one wearing the Dunce cap.

They had some report on kids with propblems and where to sent them and Elan was the so called Best of the Best RTCs back in the day. There was another RTC on the show too. A boot camp place.It came out before I left there and that was in 81.

What about the videotapes number? Isn't that what they do? Sell copies of their taped shows?

I never got to see it, I was in 4 at the time and TVs wernt even thought of in there. I herd alot about it when I got out. I was told we looked like nuts dressed in those stupid Contracts (LEs). I remember being in tears in a GM wearing a fucken dunce cap while it was being made.After my parents saw it they tryed to pull me out but, had no lck, I was ward of the state. I was 13 when I got to that fucken place, they would have kept me till I was 18 if i didnt run. Any way I would pay a pretty penny to see that.

I have made SO many calls to net works, nobody knows what Im talking about. I even check under Wilderness Camps documentorys. The networks go back to 1978. Was it called Childern of darkness? Thats not the one Imlooking for. The one Im looking for was made in the late 70s maybe 80 It was on TV before I left in 81. If there was another one made I would love to see that one too.Thaks for all the help. :tup:

Im going nuts tryin to find this. I put a few post out maybe somebody will know something. Maybe it was too long ago. Sorry nothing yet I have a few people working on it for me and Im waiting on some E mails. Im hopeful. The moment I hear anything I will let everyone know. It was so long ago and without the right name of it its hard to find anything out. But all good things come to those who wait I always say. Gottlieb was a res at the time I was in 4 I remember John Deegan . I remember just about everyone in 4 I was in that house the longest. Do you remember Victor Volkman? Or,Joyce Bear, Marie Metco, Terry Ramos, Sonny Lewis, Donald Rovnack. Ive been wondering what happen to them. Victor was funny as hell. He was always in a clown contrac. I have to say there were some pretty cool kids there in my time. Some you could trust, some you didnt. As far as staff and directors hu I would have to say Joe Rodregues was ok. I remember him saying when your pissed off say MOTHER FUCKER, it fills up your whole mouth and you feel good after you say it. He had the whole house in the dinningroom saying that about 20x. He died about a year later. Too bad it couldnt have been Marc. Who are you and do you remember me? PM me. ::rainbow::

No I wasent there in 4 for the riot herd about it. I was in 2a at that time. 2a had a REAL bad riot too. I was in 4 when Tim Donavan set fire to the girls dorms and blamed it on Denis Artis.

7 was there when I was there in 78. Ground was being broken for Elan 8 around 80 and was done by the time I left in 81. 7 was acrossed from 8 I think. I didnt spend too much time in Poland just for GMs.
