In case y'all missed it, Bill (metalgod8) and I are inviting everyone to our home in Virginia on Sunday, December 15th. We're going to have a big bonfire weather permitting. Spouses and kids are invited, too. Email either of us if you are interested.

Just replying to keep the invite on top hehe

Single dad hood and 1200 miles. Not conducive to a freindly meet up. Thanks for asking though. I would like to meet you and Bill. 6 kids though... add my 3 to the mix and they might take over.
Bonfire in cold sounds fun.

Shelby,
How could you use that terrifying clown as your icon????? I will have nightmares for a week. Hey that resembles Evelyn Beckett....LOLOL
I will be at the bonfire!!! -Colleen

That's not a clown!! I would NEVER use a clown! You know those things scare the shit out of me! She's Harley Quinn, the Joker's sidekick in the newer Batman cartoons. :smokin:
See you at the bonfire. Bring a picture of Evelyn to light the fire with! LOL

Kind of in the same position as Bill. I live in Taveres, which is in Central Florida. I don't want to lead you on, but I doubt I'll make it. I would like to meet the other people from straight just to find out how ther lives are. This is kind of strange, but I am thinking it could be simmilar to mine. Oh well, life will persist and we will be good doers. The trip is that we are all from the same flock. The mode of confussion. I am thinking that, and forgive me if I am not typing righr, I go off on tantrums, stragt sucks. Thankyou very much for the invitation. I know it is hard for us all, but we can do something about this shit.

Okay, y'all - I'm not expecting everyone to run up to VA. Just MOST of you!! haha I'm kidding. All we're saying is that if you have the interest, the time, and the means - the door is open and we'd love to have you. For those that are planning on being here, I'm looking forward to seeing you. For those that can't make it, I hope to see you at the next conference. :em:

How long would it take to drive from upstate NY to VA? I know I could find out but if anyone wants to tell me I would like to know.
sooo lazy
-
I'm thinking it's 6 hours from Richmond, VA, to Newark, NJ. Upstate New York should be another 2 hours, give or take. Of course, a lot of this depends on exactly wheresvilleburg in VA. Places like Richmond are easy to get to; Appalachia isn't.
Also, are there train stations at each end of the trip? That might be something to consider.

Hey Alex,
are you and your wife taking the kids? maybe we can either ride down together or follow one another  ya know where annapolis is right? I live about 7 miles south of it. we would have to meet some place other than Balt. though, I am a terrible city driver I get lost and ALWAYS end up in the scary parts
