I am not sorry for posting anything I said at all, because Gregs raging is at the same level as Stacks,( stack is just Stack, and greg is just greg) find nothing wrong with people expressing themselves, the stuff in this room was nothing what I had to listen to in that horrible place, I say, say what is on your mind, speak out,if someone does not like something they so can look away, but I also bet that all have plenty that could help others with :twofinger: ,what happened to all , is still happening to others, those are the true victims now, their cries out are not heard, so I just thought that if all focused on them maybe together all can keep shutting down some places, so this stops, nothing is impossible, and I bet stack and greg could shake and break at the same time. Think of the power you both have, if you both focused on others rather then your own feelings, well just imagine.

Yes at the beginning things were a little cruder unfortunatly but as time went on they wern't. Actually no one was allowed to even smoke in the building. There was no experiment. It wasn't mind control - it was to turn kids lives around and alot of kids did get help. Maybe some kids should not have been there- I'll give you that. Some people arn't even aware of incestual cercumstances that went on in their own families to this day. The goal really was to help kids. What about the families that were helped? The Seed wasn't really like alot of the other programs.

In response to "guest". I was in the seed in the early 70's. I was indeed dragged in and strip searched and had my belongings stolen. My parents didn't put me in, my mother told me I was going to visit my sister, who had been dragged in the week before and hog tied and rolled in a rug and strip searched and physically restrained by some very big older men (John, Arthur and Dennis, I believe) At 13, I can imagine how frightening that was. My mother was told she could bring a carton of cigerette and lifesavers , which staff would dole out. You were not there then if you don't remember the dingy yellow walls layered in tobbaco and the cloud of smoke that emitted from the place. It smelled bad there. Very bad.
I will agree with you that things did eventually get better, when they closed that place for good, it got really better. It was mind control, it was brainwashing , it was an experiment, it was wrong. In order to get out, one had to lie about what they did or put up with every name in the book thrown at them by strangers. Sent home to sleep in a strangers house was dangerous and wrong. It is absolutely amazing that this was ever allowed to happen. The seed called them self a drug rehab yet half the children forced there had never done drugs! That means it was NOT about helping kids, it was about numbers. The more bodies, the more moola, plan and simple. If the program helped you, I am glad, cudos, whatever. Why are you so angry? How do you know I am sleezy? Because I don't believe what you believe? It surely can't be about a few people posting about how they feel. Sorry, maybe we were in a diferent seed than you. Stack is no better no worse off then any of the crap that was said in here. sigh....... I suggested your sister log off, not because of her opinion, but because in my experience that sort of online raging is self destructive.In my years of moderating this forum I have seen people come aboard and get better and seen others degenerate and get stuck in the negative. People don't use their real names on forums not because they are afraid of Art Barker, but because it is not generally safe to do so. Many people, including the staffers and many participants here know whoI am. I have spoken to many of them and corresponded directly with them. So your implication that we are scared to post our name is downright silly. I wouldn't use my real name on any forum.
You guys come barreling in here, reposting old articles that I dug out of the St. Petersburg Times microfish archives years and years ago like you actually did something. You post personal addresses that anyone who wants them can easily get them, and troll the forum with nonsense, multiple logins and imply you would like to take criminal violent actions against people . You shout down all who disagree and bury posts you don't like under nonsense posts. You make still more direct violent threats against people who disagree with you, which is quite laughable if I do say so after seeing your picture. Regardless of this, If you think this is how you get a point across, you don't understand how civilized people engage each other in conversation. You even repulse people who generally agree with you. That is your right and the current moderators have made crystal clear they not only support this, they encourage it. Go for it, have a ball.
Ginger, on a personal note thanks for your well wishes, but you did Know I moderated personal attacks in this forum and not just spam. Your stating otherwise is disengenious, especially in light of all the conversations we had thru the years about the difference in content and tone between the moderated seed forum and the unmoderated Straight forum. For you to imply otherwise is throwing me under the bus, and in light of our 10 year relationship, that kind of sucks.

The copy of the old St. Pete article (http://http://fornits.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27775#p338485) that seems to be floating around on a couple of threads currently is one that I personally transcribed out myself, word for word, letter after letter (took me friggin' hours), from a Google Archive article which is online. The link for that was posted by another poster earlier in that thread, not even Stack, I'm sure, since they seemed to feel the article was "positive" towards The Seed.
"Poaching other's research?" Geez, didn't realize that you owned it. Someone found it on the Internet, and I transcribed it. If it is also elsewhere on the Seed forum due to your own good efforts, so much the merrier. Nobody is trying to cut into your importance here. Believe it or not, you are not the only person who devotes a great deal of their time to program research.
As to what other articles were posted, I haven't seen them so I wouldn't know. I imagine they probably come from the same Google Archive or similar sources.

Since you seem to be responding to me in your post, Ginger, antigen, Urses and countless "Guest" logins, I will respond.
You wasted your time transcribing that article because I friggen emailed you a copy YEARS ago. Also I turned over my entire portfolio of articles (including this one), research, 'facts' , and assorted knowledge gleaned from this subject to Evan wright for his article and upcoming book. I also brought him into a current program (at the time) and got us into an open meeting and an interview with current enrollees as you may recall, because we called you immediately after leaving.
As far as researching the teen industry, my days are over. I decided years ago to turn this over to the young guys coming up like Pysch who are closer to what happened, more internet savy, and have the time and energy to do it in a more effective manner.
I never agreed with everything you did but always respected your right to do so and appreciated the time you put into the forum. I left on good terms with you, and you decided to shove me under the bus on the way out. This forum was designed before day one to lure everyone to the conversation and was pre-planned and designed for the purpose to protect everyone due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter and to make all feel safe to post. That way, for example, we got to hear from John underwood and got the participation from people who spent the better part of their lives attached to the Seed. That was ALWAYS the plan. I told you before day one I was going to set it up like this and even bet you that I could get them to participate. For you to come in here, 8 years or so later and feign shock and surprise that the seed forum was moderated against personal attacks and protected people's identities says volumes about either your memory or your integrity. That you would align yourself with people who are threatening violence and criminal acts against others and wishing death on peoples dogs and children also leaves me a clue as to how far you and I have left common ground. I wouldn't exactly call it "poached." People copy stuff from me all the time, and that's just the way it goes. When I copy something from someone else, I generally like to acknowledge where I got it from, as a gesture of goodwill, not to mention a possibly reduced likelihood of me or fornits being sued (when it's off-site), but that's just me. Maybe I'm just an anal-retentive kind of bear who likes to remember which garbage cans contain the best grub.
The real credit goes to whoever had the bright idea of getting this data onto the internet, instead of the more easily destroyed and less accessible microfiche files.
Most importantly, this info and material is getting more air-play. Which means more people will see it, and more people will be able to heal somehow or hopefully learn something from it. And... there's also the question of peeling that onion. Lots of us have curious pieces of that puzzle, none of us have all of them. This wouldn't still be happening right now if people like Greg hadn't been putting in their share of time and dedication, and then some, in keeping this issue and the experience of The Seed alive.
As for "white knighting only the trolls that agree with" me, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. What caused me to respond was simply a misrepresentation of facts, however accidental or understandable it may have been. That is all.

Pretty clear that the egomaniac Stack, in addition to always reminding everyone that he is a singer, actor,lawyer,astronaut and super-hero, also got this from somewhere it isn't available. So google has it now. Fine. But the online newspaper archive does NOT. He is lying. If you use someone else's research, common decently demands that you credit it. ie: "i gound this article in the fornits archive" or "Ginger emailed me this article and would like to share it with you". Perhaps this is part of the problem. "Plans" change, and things do not always go according to plan. Forums tend to have a life of their own, an uneasy pulse of posting personalities both past and present, and the dynamic at the moment is a bit different than it's been the past few years.
