It seems something's amiss with the [img] tag. When you try to use it, it throws an error stating: "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." (<img src= doesn't work, either)

img tags are disabled in a roundabout manner where the maximum size is 1 px by 1 px (effectively disabled).

Stated a little differently:
At 1 px by 1 px (which is just about round),
some blokes may have a REAL problem with their image.[/list]

I just fixed inline image posting. First, I set everybody's profiles to default to not show images inline then I lifted the global ban. So if you want to see images inline in the posts you'll have to opt in. Here's how you do that.
Go to your User Control Panel (the link is up near the top just under the forum name line in the header of the page). Once there, click Board preferences from the tabs near the top of that page then Edit display options. The first option there is Display images within posts: Change that to "Yes" if you want inline images to show.
User Control Panel -> Board preferences -> Edit display options.

Does that mean Anons will not be able to see images?

It does. But then again, they can opt in (by registering) or follow the image links.

Does that make everybody relatively happy?

Yes; I'll take the liberty of speaking for everyone. :seg2:

Thanks for restoring image viewing capability! :rasta:
What about YouTube clips? It sure would be nice to be able to embed those again... Or do they take up an outrageous amount of bandwidth?
-
No, they don't take any bandwidth from us at all. Leme see if that's a global setting. It may just be in the user settings.

Couldn't find any user settings that looked like it would change matters..

For Youtube? No, there aren't any. For inline images? Yes, scroll up. I left instructions. I'm waiting to pow-wow w/ the other admins before I go ahead and start doing mods.
