None-ya can't stay out of Elan drama because he is Elan's biggest drama queen-Danny Bennison

You disappeared for months but couldn't pass on attacking Wayne. Only one person gives a shit about Wayne that much any more, and that's Danny "Fucking" Bennison.

You created your own nemesis to find out what people had on you. simple

I finished the book last night and loved it. I would give it 5 stars, and I have no doubt Danny raped children in his care. I don't care that he was only 19, he knew rape was a crime at 19

There's more to tell, but this book does a great job of telling the story

Richard J. Herrnstein (May 20, 1930 – September 13, 1994) was an American researcher in animal learning in the Skinnerian tradition. He was one of the founders of quantitative analysis of behavior.

His major research finding as an experimental psychologist is called "matching law" -- the tendency of animals to allocate their choices in direct proportion to the rewards they provide. To illustrate the phenomenon, imagine that there are two sources of reward, one of which is twice as rich as the other. Herrnstein found in his research that animals often chose at twice the frequency the alternative that was seemingly twice as valuable. This is known as "matching," both in quantitative analysis of behavior and mathematical psychology". He also developed melioration theory with William Vaughan, Jr.

He was the Edgar Pierce Professor of psychology at Harvard University and worked with B. F. Skinner in the Harvard pigeon lab, where he did research on choice behavior and behavioral economics. In 1965, and with Edwin Boring, Herrnstein authored 'A Source Book in the History of Psychology'.

Quote
The Society for the Quantitative Analyses of Behavior was founded in 1978 by Michael Lamport Commons and John Anthony Nevin. The first president was Richard J. Herrnstein. In the beginning it was called the Harvard Symposium on Quantitative Analysis of Behavior (HSQAB). This society meets once a year to discuss various topic in quantitative analysis of behavior including but not limited to: behavioral economics, behavioral momentum, Connectionist systems or neural networks, hyperbolic discounting, foraging, errorless learning, learning and the Rescorla-Wagner model, matching law, Melioration, scalar expectancy, signal detection and stimulus control, connectionism or Neural Networks. Mathematical models and data are presented and discussed. The field is a branch of mathematical psychology. Some papers resulting from the symposium are published as a special issue of the journal Behavioural Processes

Was my brother, Ted Kaczynski (AKA “the Unabomber”), a sort of “Manchurian candidate” -Harvard-- programmed to kill by our government in a CIA-funded thought-control experiment gone awry?

Quote
McConnell was one of the targets of Theodore Kaczynski, the Unabomber. In 1985, he suffered a hearing loss when a bomb, disguised as a manuscript, was opened at his house by his research assistant Nicklaus Suino.

1970 Psychologist James V. McConnell, in an article called "Criminals Can be Brainwashed Now" in Psychology Today, writes "...I believe that the day has come when we can combine sensory deprivation with drugs, hypnosis and astute manipulation of reward and punishment to gain almost absolute control over an individual's behavior. It should be possible to achieve a very rapid and highly effective type of positive brainwashing that would allow us to make dramatic changes in a person's behavior and personality..."

It may just be me, but something has always bugged me. We all know Straight says they were a drug/behavior treatment center. The truth is they were NOT a drug rehab in any way shape or form. Helen Peterman didnt even have a high school diploma. Betty Sembler had NO experience or qualifications to be identifying drug addicts, we all know that staff did not have the qualifications. I can say in the time I spent there , I would hazard to guess that only a few would have really qualified as a "drug addict". So, can we please delete all references to it being a "drug rehab". They were certified by no organization. They were not JACO approved although they used their seal, they used it fraudulently. It is an unfair label to us all to say it was a "drug rehab". I really hate them being called that because they had NOTHING that qualified them as such. They had no doctors, nurses, shrinks nothing so why do we keep refering to them as a drug rehab. They werent plain and simple.
We all know that Betty had about as much qualifications as a worm.
So, although it would be time consuming can we please remove that language from the sites?
The governor of California, during Synanon's rise to pop culture fame, changed the laws that governed treatment being administered by unqualified douchebags to practice behavior modification on drug addicts.
Quote
"Other forms of behavior modification techniques employ intensive "encounter sessions" in which individuals are required to participate in group therapy discussions where intensive pressure is often placed on the individuals to accept the attitudes of the group... Once the individual is submissive, his personality can begin to be reformed around attitudes determined by the program director to be acceptable. Similar to the highly refined "brainwashing" techniques employed by the North Koreans in the early nineteen fifties, the method is used in the treatment of drug abusers... "The Seed", a drug abuse treatment program in Florida that, until recently, received funding from the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, is based on a similar philosophy."
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND THE FEDERAL ROLE IN BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION by the COMMITTEE ON THE JUDICIARY, UNITED STATES SENATE, Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights, November, 1974, pp. 15 - 16 describing The Seed.

Somehow, between 1974 and 1977-78, someone decided that brainwashing was okay, and not subject to any rules

Did it extend to children who didn't do drugs? No one knows. No one even knows when that started, or who gave permission

Find the answer to that, and you'll have the key to taking down the programs that exist today

It would be grounds for a huge class action lawsuit

California would be the best place to file :)

Mr. Morantz participated pro bono in Molko v. Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity in 1988, along with another anti-cult lawyer, Ford Greene, wherein the California Supreme Court determined consistent with the free exercise clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and of article I, section 4, of the California Constitution, former members of a religious organization may sue that organization on various causes of action arising out of its allegedly deceptive recruitment practices.

The court held the act of Brainwashing was outrageous conduct and victims could recover civil and punitive damages for its application. Unification Church members were accused of denying their religious affiliation in order to lure prospective recruits to camps where there beliefs could be psychologically manipulated through behavior modification techniques

Dead Queens teen was restrained by school staff

Quote
A Queens teenager died suddenly Thursday after he was restrained by staff at a school for emotionally and developmentally troubled kids, police and students said.

Corey Foster, 16, of Jamacia, was hauled off of a basketball court at the Biondi Education Center at the Leake & Watts facility in Yonkers Wednesday night and went into cardiac arrest as he was being removed, witnesses said.

School staff members restrained Foster during a dispute in the gym, police said.

He apparently became “agitated” while playing basketball, Det. Lt. Patrick McCormack told the Daily News.

“Corey was laying on his stomach,” said Malike Legree, 17, of Brooklyn, who saw three or four staffers try to remove Foster from the basketball court. “At first the staff was laying on top of him. When they got off him he wasn’t moving.”

“They never tried to diffuse the situation,” he added.

Antonio Reeder also saw the deadly tussle.

“Right now I’m afraid,” Reeder said. “(Foster) was harmless. He loved people. He knew how to have a social conversation. He wouldn’t hurt anybody. He just had a little anger problem.”

Foster was pronounced dead about 9:22 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, cops said.

“We are collaborating with police and the medical examiner on the examination,” said Meredith Barber, a director at Leake & Watts.

Investigators are interviewing teachers, staff and students to determined why and how Foster was restrained, McCormack said.

(CBS News) Chuck Colson, a former aide to Richard Nixon, evangelical leader, author and nonprofit founder, died Saturday at the age of 80.

He passed away at a hospital in Northern Virginia, three weeks after surgery to ease intercerebral hemorrhage -- a large pool of clotted blood in his brain.

Colson was Nixon's special counsel and was part of the Watergate scandal which led to Nixon's resignation. He was known as the president's "hatchet man," and also served on Nixon's re-election committee, which plotted and attempted to steal information from the Democratic Party headquarters.

Colson pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and served seven months of a one-to-three year prison sentence.

Prior to the start of his prison sentence, Colson became a born-again Christian. After his release from an Alabama prison, Colson founded Prison Fellowship, a nonprofit organization that conducts outreach to prisoners to "seek the transformation of prisoners... through the power and truth of Jesus Christ."

According to his bio for Prison Fellowship, Colson formed the idea of Prison Fellowship when a fellow inmate told him "there ain't nobody cares about us. Nobody!" Colson started the organization and ran it for 33 years.

Jim Liske, CEO of Prison Fellowship, told CBS News that Colson continued to meet with top elected officials and leaders but "would rather be in prison embracing an inmate."

Colson wrote more than 30 books on religion and faith. In 1991 he founded BreakPoint, where he broadcast daily radio commentaries on news and politics "from a Christian perspective."

Colson never left the political scene, consistently advocating on behalf of conservative policies. He opposed abortion and same-sex marriage and supported the Iraq war. In 2008, President George W. Bush gave Colson the Presidential Citizens Medal.

Colson is survived by his wife, Patty, three children and five grandchildren.
