In Boston, whenever there was a loss of topics or not enough tears flowing...they would bust out the boom box and play a song.

The sweet leaf mention reminded me of that not that they were playing that particular song.

The whole group would then cry. Literally the whole fucking group. Probably from lack of hearing a radio in so long.

since this website may be taken down I would like to spend a moment to dedicate this space to the day that Tom Driscoll Sr staff punched me in the face in front of the entire exec staff and I was not even allowed to press charges

call my parents

speak to police

nothing

every single basic right was denied to me

I was a 14 year old girl who was 4'11 and her dropped me in the face in front of an entired room full of guys girls and regular and executive staff

He was later REHIRED BY STRAIGHT

He was reHIRED after I was sent to a psych ward

He was an ADULT GRADUATE of the PROGRAM not a professional

He assaulted a 14 year old

he was rehired

THANK YOU DEBRA DRAGHTON(SP?) for not allowing me to tell my family and denying me the right to press charges! And for rehiring a child abuser and women batterer.

And if you take the name off of here I don't think it is right because I think it is time he is held "accountable" long overdue time!!!!!

the most memorable cop out I remember was when these two chicks Karen and Maureen stole this oldcomer Sherry's Cavalier (sp?) and drove it to Florida.

That had to be the most insanely brilliant yet illegal and in retrospect dumb (being as it was Florida since we all now know this is the Straight State) cop-out I can remember.

They came back tan.

We misbehavers we all jealous. And if my memory serves me right in true straight form I think they somehow managed to make it the oldcomers fault too because of the keys or something. And they were dubbed druggie friends

Any good cop-out stories from your Straights?

A slipping gear could let your M203 grenade launcher fire when you least expect it.  That would make you quite unpopular in what's left of your unit.

I can't believe that the website that I found after being tortured for 13months in Straight might be shut down, censored, the right to free speech violated, in my humble opinion, which never ever seems to matter. Not on the floor in Straight, not here either really if it is going to be shut down by some faceless stranger by yet another group with a name like Straight

if anyone is wondering why I am home I bailed out and didn't go. but that is a different story

I just said to my parents that the Straight Boston was closed down for representing an RN as a Psyciatrist (sp?) to the child protective people of Mass. and they said well at least it was an RN and not an LPN.

I hate them I hate that they still have the power to make me cry. I hate that they don't care and that I still want them too. They never gave a fuck. Everyone I know always tries to convince me that they did and I try to believe it too sometimes but they don't. I hate them I feel so young right now so raw and alone. I will never be like them. Who could do something like that and feel no remorse.

I thought I was done crying over this fucking place. I wish something would happen so that they would suffer like I did, but I would probably save their fucking asses like a moron.

Well as I continue on in life and leave in my wake messed up relationships dumbfounded stares confusion agnst ect I wonder

would I have been regular if I was not put in this program or am I just a darker shade of dysfuction because of it and was basically going to be a screw up anyway.

I just suck at this. This planet this way of being is not my cup of tea.

Relationships tank, conflict with authorties, intense paranoia casting its shadow over everything.  

Maybe it really is just me. Who knows. Grrrr I suck I feel sorry for my friends and boyfriends  :skull:
