Title: Celebrity mentions boot camp on Howard Stern show today
Post by: dishdutyfugitive on December 17, 2008, 02:38:26 AM
Any Fornisticators that listen to Howard Stern ??

Pete Wentz (husband of ashlee simpson and bassist of Fallout boy) was one of the main guests today. He briefly mentioned his parents shipped him off to a boot camp. (Too bad Joe Francis hasn't done the same during his numerous appearance on the stern show).

Pete plays bass in the band Fall Out Boy so Howard asked him how he got into that stuff. Pete said he started out early and he was diagnosed with ADD and he was also bipolar. He said that he was sent to boot camp after a therapist suggested it. He said that experience was pretty messed up because he was just a goofy kid and he was in there with kids who were like Michael Myers from ''Halloween.''

I assume Pete was referring to this boot camp? http://www.bethelacademy.com/ (http://www.bethelacademy.com/)

No it is this one: http://www.wolfeboro.org/podium/default.aspx?t=109178 (http://www.wolfeboro.org/podium/default.aspx?t=109178)

if you should take this source serious: http://www.tv.com/pete-wentz/person/412083/trivia.html (http://www.tv.com/pete-wentz/person/412083/trivia.html)

No as much as a boot camp as Bethel, but bad enough. The time in camp seems to have been lowered from 8 weeks to 6.5 weeks. From program homepage
