The Troubled Teen Industry / Re: What about

Carlbrook is founded by graduates of a closed school Cascade because of the way they treated kids. The school operates very much the same as that school did only they make it all look good. To top it off, Grant, one of the founders is drunk all the time. When I left this school I finally got my life back and feel sorry for those who are still there.

The Troubled Teen Industry / Re: MONARCH ACADEMY, MONTANA

I graduated from Monarch and would not be successful if it were not for the personal and family work I experienced. I know that some want to put it down but it seems a lot of those posts are from ex-students who never completed the school for one reason or another. I've met other students from different programs and am so happy my parents picked Monarch School.

I have to say after reading all the posts on this site it seems that some forgot why they where sent away in the first place. I know one of the main reasons I was sent away was for my constant rebellion against authority. Seems that some of you are still struggling with this. I hope that you are able to mature out of this and move ahead with your life. It would be really healthy for you.

I don't know who you are but Monarch School is owned by a wonderful family that has dedicated their life to helping others. It may be one of the most loving and safe environments anyone can be a part of. I only hope that you find peace for yourself someday.

I know who you are and it's amazing that after all the talks we had about life and the advice you gave me in the dorms that helped me change my life that you would turn against what you once believed. I can only hope that you will get back in touch with that once amazing human you were.

Facility Question and Answers / Re: Shortridge

Short ridge just had a major rebellion by it's graduating class. Windows broken and furniture thrown everywhere. Some of the weaker students just curled up in a ball in a corner and hoed they didn't get beat up. Sounds like a pretty crappy culture.
