I could have been brainwashed to think this, but I remember a time in 1987 where there were around 60 phasers total and the warehouse room with the big fan was full. Then it slowly declined approaching 88. (Hebron KY)
By the way, to the brainwashed anon who thinks KHK is good for anyone: We were all brainwashed and we all believed that at one point. When you come around, I feel sorry for the issues you will have to deal with as a result of this abusive organization. When you realize this, I will listen and we can talk about it. Just don't say, "Love ya Tony" I hate that!

I wrote to Hagit Limor yesterday and received a reply stating that she didn't have the authority from her bosses to do any follow-up or even take my testimony. I think her hands are tied. I guess I am on my own when it comes to the media.
How am I supposed to bring forth evidence besides my own witnessing about the abuses I received. That was in the late 80s. I might be able to look up past phasers that were there while I was. How can I show them the scars on my brain?
As far as protesting or organizing, I will need to know what is legal. I am not familiar with activism. I don't want to go to jail, of course but I would at least like to communicate with the parents of the kids that are in there now. How can I talk to them? Am I even allowed on the property? Can we put fliers on the cars during open meeting citing individual experiences?

I am ready to talk to anyone! My intake was on Aug. 28th 1986 KHK in Hebron. I was a trainee after I graduated but was forced to leave staff due to my questionable tactics of actually trying to help people without torture. For being less severe I was threatened with possibly being re-entered into the program because I was still only 16. I don't think so.

I still possess some old phone lists from 1987 with names of many in the group at that time. I would never divulge the info on these lists but it could help find some of the people and see if they wanted to come forward.
As for crimes, remember "talk and responsibilities"? Did someone say,"child labor laws"? And we didn't even get paid for it. At least we didn't get taxed on the money that we didn't make.

I remember getting out. I graduated or what was called seven stepping back then. It took a long time for the brainwashing effects to wear off. I don't think I had the mental capacity to press charges then. Would a teenager with unwilling parents even be allowed to press charges? This is very frustrating. I don't just want to shut KHK down, I want to shut them all down for good. Shut one down and they just move somewhere else. With elections coming up, this might be a great time to try and get the word out. I think to do this, we will need an organized group with written statements about the violations and atrocities we endured. Is there such a group in the making? I hope so. I will be a part of it.
