Manson was a scary dude. My friends uncle did time with him. Made it a point not to look at him. Who the hell did time at pelican bay?? Guess CEDU works. :grin:  Oh and my whole point is that Manson is not a nice person, nor was his followers or whatever. There is no need to put that shit with CEDU stuff or anywhere else on this planet. He was INVOLVED, and was guilty. Oh but I guess inside everybody is innocent. Who gives a shit about the hole or whatever. The big (HUGE) difference is that for most of the kids at CEDU, they were not there because a courtroom decided their fate, and at CEDU, once you are in, you stay in for at least a year. The only set date was 2.5 years in the program, and it was not set in stone, I watched a lot of kids get rolled back after coming back from ascent. My friend was in for a loong ass time, and there was a few two and three ascent tour people there. There was no "good" time, shit if you were doing good, they would find ways to bag on your ass..... Unless you were a kiss-ass and they used you for keeping the other kids in agreement. Anyways, my point is mainly that prison is usually the result of making deliberate wrong choices as an adult, CEDU was often times kids with shitty parents who had money. Prison is not fun, nor is it supposed to be.

And for the love of god, anybody can buy a quote book, be creative and think up something deep and meaningful on your own.

Cascade was a shithole. I knew a couple kids from there. And a couple staff that went there, they couldn't possibly have made that place better.

Shit, the only way I knew of to get kicked out was to fuck-off a lot right before you turned 18, walk out of the Summit (probably the I and ME, but I'm not sure). For everything else, you got either a fat full-time, ascent, mental hospital, or a free trip to a lock-down facility

Develop MONO, it worked for me, I stayed in my bed for 2 months, lost 30 pounds, but didn't have to go to raps, nor did staff give me shit. Of course I was seriously sick, but I got jello and good shit.

Know who to run over and who's ass to kiss. Often times kids would fuck with the wrong staff. It is not a one time thing, you have to carefully choose and decide on your course of actions, because they will follow you your entire tour. Believe me, me and one certain staff went at it for 2 years. On the bright side, it was a public war, and if you got a reaction out a staff in front of everybody, you were doing it right.

Do not buy in more than you can get out. Mainly meaning don't lose yourself in CEDU's bullshit. Going along with some of it is the secret to self preservation.

Fuck your parents, you've lost them, so why give them the time of day. Then after a bit, suddenly come on strong in the program, make amends with the parents, and voila, staff come to give you a plane ticket, life is good. Remember, you have to be doing "good" to pull this little stunt off.

Sneak shit in, doesn't matter what, pot, cigs, food, clothes, music, books, it's all good.
