Sources say Mr. Keith Bishop, Program Director/Administrator of Ridge Creek School "no longer works here." Mr. Bishop started in February.
Two months?

Ya know, they might as well just make those job openings "permanent," given the frequency with which they need to re-list them!  :D

This appears to be the oppotune moment to get some of my, well, less than legally compliant teen referrals into RCS.  Plus it's inexpensive which translates into healthy margins!

The importat thing is that Ridge Creek keeps the prices down.  Most parents aren't going to buy more expensive, licensed, accredited services.  RCS is in good position here in my opinion.

Keith Bishop has apparently moved on to Q&A Associates in Davis West Virginia as Director of Operations.

I see that Bishop has not moved far, philosophically speaking... :twofinger:

There are more than a few interconnecting lines within the industry, but I found the following course of associations quite intriguing and, actually, even almost elegant, given its circularity:

Q & A Associates was founded not too long ago by Angie Senic, former executive director and long time employee of Alldredge Academy.

Alldredge Academy, along with SUWS and a small number of other programs, was founded by L.Jay Mitchell. An accompanying "parent assistance" organization, the Alldredge Foundation, may or may not have had Mitchell's hands officially stirring the pot, but his influence was certainly there.

The Alldredge Foundation merged with Saving Teens in Crisis Collaborative a few years ago. STICC, a sort of "philanthropic" enterprise which, in reality, functions more like a public relations arm for the industry, was founded by a Mr. John David Reuben. Mr. Reuben was apparently thus inspired after having sent both of his boys to a small smorgasborg of at least two programs each. The older one, who died a few years ago of a drug overdose, was first sent to SUWS (L.Jay Mitchell) and then to Academy at Swift River. The younger one was dispatched to Outback Expeditions and then to Hidden Lake Academy, which was the former name of Ridge Creek School, Keith Bishop's former place of employment.

My, my... what tangled webs we weave.

The more obvious connection, which I didn't see right away 'cuz I'm not thinking in a straight line today, has to do with Keith Bishop's former job at Eckerd Youth Academy (prior to Ridge Creek School).

After Angie Senic left Alldredge Academy, but before she founded Q & A Associates, she went to work at Eckerd for awhile. Chances are, Bishop and Senic may very well know each other from their mutual employment at EYA.
