I just heard on the news, that here in Pinellas County, in the land of Mel and Betty Sembler, Clearwater Central Catholic High School is insituting MANDATORY drug testing on all students. The first postitive test triggers MANDATORY TREATMENT.
the second test, mandatory expulsion

I believe it.

My advice for any kids that get handed a cup is to just say no. Everyone say no. Keep saying no.
A stupid company asked me to piss in a cup once (for a job), so I did it and then proceeded to spill it all over their nice counter. Oh darn. Then I told them to take their job and shove it. If they want my piss, they can suck it out of me.
NEVER agree to a piss test!

Want a voluntary urin sample from me? It'll have to be a taste test.

Ahoy Ginger! - I see your sense of humor is intact!

P.S. not meaning to offend you catholics out there

Good grief Charlie Brown. My son attended CCC (mandatory drug test) and guess where they send these kids PAR which MS Sembler is on the board. Why can't we get awy from these people?
-
Oh no !! I guess we can't  this has got to change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of these wonderful folks no me. No I was not a client, I was the parent. My son was in SAFE in 98 (worse yr of our life). I beleive had we not kidnapped him when he did he would be dead, his medical condition was that severe.
My heart still crys in pain when I remember the day we went up pulled him and they brougt him to us. We took a body home but it took us months to find our child in that body.

OK, SnowWhite. I pegged who you are and have imposed the curse of moderatorship upon you.
May you fare well and never have a flame war in your forum that doesn't amount to something worthwhile. Holler if you need anything.

I just caught walked in on a report on Tampa news last night regarding mandatory drug testing. They had interviewed students and a parent. Of course all was pro mandattory drug testing. The students are so innocent they do not even have a clue how a right has been taken from them.

OK So now what? 5 years later I have a question: what do we do now? Teach our kids NOT to pee in the cup?
We all know, when you 'balk' it causes all kinds of problems, don't we?
-
If I had the program to do over again I would have been the most outrageous misbehaver they'd ever seen. I've never pissed for pay and hope never to be so desperate. It would take desperation for me to agree to any voluntary urin sample other than a taste test. But that's just me.

I don't know about that one, Scarlett. The purpose became 'get out unscathed as soon as possible'. At which point I then went back to ruining my life myself
I've given fingerprints-that's it. And I had a fit when they wanted that-still pisses me off when I think about it. I thought that took nerve. And after the incident, I felt like I had just crawled out from under a rock. Suddenly people I've worked with and gotten to know for years act like I'm the criminal for trying to exercise my Constitutional rights. I no longer have that job OR any of those 'friends'. I DO still have my fingerprints, but who else have they been shared with?
Sounds paranoid? Social Security AND theIRS can always find you. Remember the one about 'death and taxes'?
Peeing in a cup would not have made any difference in my life.*
I had an 'attitude' problem not drugs. Maybe 'group' would've worked
But mandatory now is the same as mandatory then. Seems to me if the 'problem' never gets addressed, proper individual treatment being the goal, that should be the issue. As a result, more kids w/problems, more mandatory programs, ...this is so stupid.
How many kids have/had medical problems that go/went undetected?
Mandatory won't help them.
