Title: Watchdog group scam
Post by: Anonymous on June 10, 2003, 05:55:00 AM
John Bundy has a long history in the tough love industry with ties to WWASP among others.

http://www.teenprogram.info (http://www.teenprogram.info) claims to be the "Watch Dog of Teen Schools", but the owner John Bundy also owns these other sites. Some of these sites have shown up on similar message boards in a "cookie cutter" fashion.

Exactly, but WWASP doesn't blatantly claim to be a watchdog group.

You are so true.  Is Bundy "watching" WWASPs back?

No one has yet posted any reviews of the WWASP schools on the "watchdog" site.

To see if it is really a scam, someone should post a negative one and see if it is removed.

It appears that Bundy has had ties with WWASP in the past, but it not looks like he only refers teens to about 4 or 5 programs. I think he profits off a small network of programs outside of WWASP.  Just because they are not WWASP does not make them a good program, there are plenty of small or underground programs that have severe internal issues.

I think that Bundy has just seen alot of schools including wwasp and he promotes those that help kids. Why are you so suspicious? Mr. Bundy really is trying to make kids lives better. You don't know him or anything about him.

That's one really good reason. Or I might just as well answer that I'm suspicious of troubled parent salesmen for the same reason I'm suspicious of used car salesmen and politicians; cause I've run into them before. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Yes, yes, I know. And my dad had nothing but my best interest at heart the day he called the cops and made a false report against me, trying to have me arrested. He later apologized. And George Washington's doctors really believed that draining just a few more pints of blood would surely save the former president's life. Most people are pretty sure these days that they were mistaken.

I don't care about these people's intentions. Good intentions don't cut it.

The spirit of this country is totally adverse to a large military force.

Nah Dore: you just sell kids to programs just like WWASP, don't you? That's what a child advocate does, huh?

Obviously you have other intentions than those of assisting children and their families, which is why you post "un-named".  I do not accept any "pay back" from any program or school, and if you had done your homework before making such an off the cuff comment you would know that.  I encourage you to educate yourself about child right's advocates and educational consultants.  As in any industry, there are those that are ethical and those that are not.

Perhaps visiting http://www.gudingteens.com (http://www.gudingteens.com) and reviewing my professional affiliations will asssit you in your education.

Dore says she takes no money from a placement agency or school.  This is correct.  She gets the kickback from the loan officer she arranges for you to use.

One of the Cowdells of Utah runs Dore's website. That same person runs the Clark Custom "Education" Loans and Clark Behavioral Health Financing websites.

The address of this person running the websites is the same as that of the Cowdell Insurance Company (provides specialty insurance for teen transports), USA Guides (teen transports), and of that Ed Con and program compilation site, Caring 4 Youth (run by USA Guides). He does their websites too.
