Title: Get Ready

Justice is right around the corner, the seed was and still is a horrible place, sometimes it does take years for something to finally break silence among people that were hurt in horrible ways that even a human soul could not understand. Time also heals, and I hope as myself, all start opening up to heal themselves as well, what happen to all in that place should be set free, so that maybe parents will stop putting their kids in such danger, a lot of lives have been harmed, and many no longer are with us because of places as this, so open up, set your souls free, give back to the staff and those fools what they so gave to you, no time is late for healing, and if you were young like me, you no longer have to hide, you will find by sharing that many feel like you, all the staff back then still know and act out daily as they did back then, help save another child like yourself , keep posting and contacting so that the criminals of the past are brought to justice, remember everything, write it down if need, just open up, and tell your story, even if you want to stay nameless. You could not help yourself back then when you were forced to sit for hours a day, but you sure could help someone else now, PEACE, and do not be afraid. All staff members and anyone assisting Art Barker, is guilty of many crimes, and crime is crime does not matter how long ago, and being old does not clear them of wrong doing, open up people, Peace always! :peace:

The Seed which closed in 2002 did me alot of good.  I have been alcohol & drug free for many years.  My family benifited from it.  My father also went to AA and has been doing great for years.  I really have nothing but good things to say about my experience there.  I learned alot of important lessons and am a much better person for going through the program so many years ago.  Sorry things went differently for you.  I am actually grateful for my whole experience. :peace:

When were you there and where?

Glad it helped you.

I was put there without having any addiction, just a "druggie attitute"

Not sure what that even means but assume it had to do with being part of a body count.

The more bodies, the more $$ lining A. Barkers pocket.

He was helping kids, hmmmph

Sad when children are used to buy condos.

It did so well that it is closed down, thinks guest is Libby, Gather all your staff members and lets see just how many it did so well for. Again that place was nothing more then a scam, for some drunk/druggie/junkie/comedian, and I wonder just how many of you all are hooked on some kind of medication now ( for anything) because you  are still a druggie, just in another form. Pretty funny if you really do look at yourself and who you have become in the last 30 years are so, me I do not even take aspirin, I do not allow doctors to give me harmful drugs either, I never did drugs back then, and still have not, so if you are staff members, or just assisting Art Barker in an way, you are a criminal, sounds like guest is a criminal . :twofinger:  :soapbox:  :fuckoff:  :jawdrop:  :beat:    :roflmao:  :rasta:  :smashcomp:  ::deadhorse::  :bs:  ::poke::  ::fullofshit::  ::unhappy::  :blabla:  :rasta:  :roflmao:

Not everyone who posts good things about the Seed was a staff member.  I had a few people from my family go to the Seed and were grateful that they had that chance.  I'm sorry too that you had a bad experience but not all of us did.  I know that I wouldn't have the life I have if I had not gone to the program so many years ago.  You can't put everyone in the same bag as you are because there are friends I still have today they feel as I do.

Guest, I ask again, when did you go to the seed and where?

We must have been in a different program

Please elaborate how it helped you (or us as you stated) , you post is very vague

Thanks

saying the seed helped you is like saying north korea torturing techniques -- helped american prisoners of war!!!

you are a fucking weak piece of dung. you fell into an experiment and came out covered in brainwash goo. and haven't washed it off yet.

you fucking turd, you don't even have the guts to say when you were there, and what your name is.

your father was an alcoholic -- you were a drug addict -- your friends LOVED it there.

jeez, somebody put a bullet in these stepford kids brains and blow out the back of their heads once and for all.

ouch, not my exact sentiment but I would like clarification on how it helped

my therapist says the place was a horrible abomination that should have never opened its door due to the fact that no one inside who was in charge was degreed, educated or qualified to administer any "treatment"

basically like going to a department store clerk and asking them to perform open heart surgery

I ask again, what year, what location and how long where you there?

my friend who has a phd in psychology, read the marc polonsky article and said - there is no doubt the seed was nothing more than a place that committed physical, psychological, mental, and emotional abuse.

and that anybody that thinks that program helped them, is still deeply disturbed by that mess, and really, really needs counseling.

i say those stepford cunts need a bullet to the brain.

I would like to reiterate that being at the seed was far more than a "bad experience" , as you stated.

To me, a bad experience is ordering a pinapple pizza and being disappointed about all the hype.

Criminal activities like rape, torture, sleep deprivation, theft and murder do not fit into a catagory of "bad experiences"

Those things are crimes against humanity and acts of violance.

Your take seems a little relaxed and disturbingly medicated.

you say the seed helped you.. fine and dandy glad you're not smoking rope any more  task force officers that i've worked with tell me that it's not the old beni gn marijuana any more, so i'm glad for you.. really. however how in the living hell you can countenance all the crimes they commited, i can not fathom. you, warrant, others who say these people helped you? what would you say to the people whose lives and careers were threatened and ruined? it's OK because you're OK? is that it?

Or the families , friendships, relationships destroyed

what about taking a 13, 14 and 16 year old child out of school for most of a year

any idea how hard it was to catch up on missed education

wonder how legal that was

all for the sake of lining a few greedy pigs pockets

"grant money for all those south florida druggies that would be dying on every corner if we don't do something now, tell your friends, tell your family, run don't walk to the seed now!"

lies, fraud, kidnap, rape, murder

guilty

My father had no clue I was out of school, they were hiding it from him, he was always away on trips.

Guest,

I am almost certain (not completely but almost) that no parent ever just came to a school and took their kid out and away to the seed without having FIRST consulted with some Seed individual, whether it was another program parent or a staff member.

I'm also very confident that lots of kids were brought there under the guise of "Let's just talk to them."  That's what I heard.  So I talked to them. Or rather I responsed approrpriately to their questions. The intake person asked me what drugs I did, I said I smoked pot (which was the truth).  The lady told my parents I was lying and needed help immediately or I would end up deadinsaneorinjail.  Fuck, what a racket.  It was high pressure sales, pure and simple.

Stripe,

I do not dispute that it was a high pressure sales job;

Add in the general hysteria about "drugs" prevalent in the '70s and '80s.

The parents got pressured, no doubt, but I think it is disingenuous to characterize it as kidnapping unless you concede that at leaast one parent was complicit;

well blame anyone you like, if my mother is held responsible so be it,  then explain funds that were given, that there is theft, libby tries so much to, well what if, point is it was and still is kidnapping, . Should ask my mother yourself libby, after all you were there when she did all this crap, you even got her to buy cigarettes and life savers, and I was how old , 13, and that too is against the law to allow a miner to smoke, you got young kids that did not smoke hooked on cigarettes as well,( because they were so freaking bored that smoking was allowed there so they picked up the habit) is there no shame to your crimes, drag the old lady in too ask her why she did what she did, I bet she will say because it sounded like it was something good, does not mean it was. ( she now knows this) Take your experiment fucking program and shove it up your ass, you are a horrible person to do what you did, not to just me, but to many , you never had to pay for cigarettes then either because the cartons were always  half a cartoon  ( I have witnessed you assholes stealing from what the families brought in for kids too) you got kids  children hooked on tobacco and life savers and forced them to sit for hours, many hours a day,  you told parents to bring tobacco and cigarettes to young kids, I guarantee you never paid for a pack of cigarettes, free smokes went along with the  abusing, huh??? libby??? gues :bs: t should just come straight out and stop pretending, we who were there know it is you libby posting as guest.   what if is a good question I think you should be answering, what if you never opened that place, I wonder how many lives would have been happier, somebody better come up with some answers, what if I just turn around and do the same thing to you, who cares about age, nobody cared about age back then, everything you did was and still is against the law, hope you like  the word that suits you best, KIDNAPPER, live with it the rest of your sorry ass life, and remember  you  have been a kidnapper  for a long long time, libby= hooker street walker prostitute druggie heroin abusing KIDNAPPER child abuser, next time you want to experiment on someone make sure you ask them first, and  never lie and say you did, and when you point a finger  there are how many pointing back at you, my mother would tear a new hole in your stupid ass by the way,  she is still around, and she sure has not forgotten what that place took away from her. You better pray I do not come with  in feet of you. I will make you smoke things you did not know could be smoked. :rasta:    :jerry:  ::poke::  ::unhappy::  ::OMG::  :jamin:

Stripe,

I agree, except when I responded , I was called a liar and that I had a druggie attitude , which in turn meant I would soon be using drugs.

WHAT!!!!

So, as an A student, i was pulled out of school and soon learned that they only way out of the "program" was to fabricate my addiction to appease the abusers.

By the time I got out of that place I supposedly did everything from pot to speed. What a hoot!

Did I hear anyone say Patty Hearst, Stockholm Syndrome? These frauds kidnapped children and lied to their parents in order to line their pockets.

The amount of real estate that former seed staffers  own is picture enough to see that the used program funds to profit.

First rate child abuse is good enough for me. After years of therapy, I was told that is what it was , plane and simple.

These are college educated professionals, not some junkies on a get out of jail free card as long as they are in a governement granted drug rehab.

Sounds like fraud to me, big time.
