The Troubled Teen Industry / ISAC $$$$$$?
« on: September 22, 2003, 09:14:00 AM »
Our site is currently free as their is "guest" account set up. There has been for over a week. We will be charging as ISAC spends hundreds of hours a week working, thousands of dollars in mail outs, phone bills, internet access, website fees and more. This requires us to charge a small fee as it is difficult for survivors to continue to fund ISAC fully.
All information that parents need to get information on a program will ALWAYS be free.
We currently have saved over eighty children however, it does cost money to run ISAC.
We also offer ANYONE that if they can not afford the ten dollars to email us and we will give them access if they can not afford it.
ISAC works closely with as many parents as possiable.

ISAC server experienced problems today. The main details are now there.
We will post a complete copy of the complaint when we are able to.
The important thing here is to support Richard.

The Troubled Teen Industry / ISACS Official Position
« on: August 26, 2003, 04:18:00 PM »
There has been much discussion on the boards about the link between organizations and or individuals.

ISAC IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY ORGANIZATION OR INDIVIDUAL PERIOD.
We have never had a link to PURE on our site.

Having said that, each organization is unique. No three people agree on every subject the same is true with organizations. We do not always agree with each other. However, there are times throughout the year where we ALL (As individuals not organizations) need to come together such as protest and conferences.

ISAC is not affiliated with any group, organization or individual.

We believe that efforts are better spent working to save the children than arguing these small points.

The Troubled Teen Industry / Posting
« on: August 13, 2003, 04:34:00 PM »
Since people are taking the liberty of posting on behalf of ISAC even though they have not been asked to do so, we've created an actual ISAC ID for this site.

ALL posts made by ISAC will be made under that ID. If the username isn't ISAC, we didn't post it. Plain and simple.

To those of you posting for us, we'd appreciate it if you would stop. We are quite capable of speaking for ourselves if and when we think it's necessary.

One more thing - it's common knowledge/sense that posting personal phone numbers on the INTERNET is an invasion of privacy and can be downright dangerous. We hope that was merely a lapse of good judgement and not intended to be malicious.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]
