Why is it that when announcements are made in good faith to inform survivors of straight and other programs, people come on here right off the bat, and say insulting things and make snide remarks, take truth and bend it into rumor and just plain make nuisances of themselves? Maybe they should practice what they preach. Apparently some people just have to be difficult. I have seen the power of this board and all it can help and hurt. What else is left??? I think it is time for a break.

I am still a little unclear as to what you are saying, Antigen. What's the prize you seek this time around? We "threw down" together on Seeber there at OW Online and other places too. You didn't have any apparent qualms about that, where's that trophy? We didn't get one, and I wasn't expecting one either. Who is it that you say sees so little credibility? You? Who else? I'd really like to know and don't beat around the bush. You have voiced some strong sounding opinions and I find them to be, at best, very controversial. I agree, we should remain calm cool and collected here.

Early this year I sat down with Dr. Riddile at a Chili's Restaraunt in Fairfax to discuss his involvement in the program. A couple minutes later, K. B, another survivor came in and sat there as the questioning began. Dr. Riddile (Mel) was the Director of straight Springfield, then got promoted to Regional Director of straight, then on top of that, he was the Director of the Straight Foundation for nearly 2 years.
He ordered a glass of iced tea, I had a hamburger fries and a root beer, and K. B. had a glass of water, I think, might have been iced tea. Either way, I thought that Mel was going to order food but he didn't. The straws were wrapped in that paper cover which he rolled around between his fingers the entire time we questioned him. By the time it was over, about 1.5 hours later, that paper straw cover was worn out. lol... He was VERY nervous acting, gave pretty vague answers to the tough questions then seemed to relax when asked if he knew that we were going to end it. I don't know, but I think he was on the hotseat for sure. As for K. B. and me, I was nervous there for the first couple minutes, but then started to relax while I ate and talked, she was great, we did a helluva job, in my opinion.

Well, in my opinion, reading all the information on ISAC's site, UPDATED nearly DAILY since its inception on the web, has boggled many minds. If your mind is boggled, don't worry, just relax. It will be OK. It may take a couple minutes, or a second look from time to time. A more easily understood "here's the details" will be posted soon. As you can (hopefully) understand, Richard is being sued by the Semblers. Email and/or call Richard's attorney, the address is right there on the front page... The details of this suit are continuously developing. There's more to it than meets the eye, please check back soon for more updates. Thank you.
BTW, CLAY, others, ISAC is not named in this suit, it is Richard Bradbury.

Last year a bunch of us survivors posted there and they shut down the forum for a couple days, then brought it back up only now it is moderated by, IN MY OPINION, a friggin COMMUNIST! LOL...
I doubt that there is a pro straight one out there, unless it is concealed by some different name, like Pathway, or Kids Helping Kids, etc... At http://www.orlandoweekly.com there is another lively discussion in the archives there under the NEWS message boards called "SAFE or else!" (The one topic that had nearly 500 replies) LOL... Those people got a BIG earful from us and crawled back into the woodwork. Brian Seeber, the Director of SAFE, Inc. now, claimed to have read Miller Newton's book "Gone Way Down" 150 times at least.

Well, there's 2160 flyers all ready to go from my base, not sure about any others right now. I could send scanned copies of these to your email, but I don't know what that address is. Make up a thousand copies of an excerpt from a report, news article, etc...from http://www.isaccorp.com or http://www.thestraights.com about SAFE, the Semblers, DFAF, whatever program you want, WWASP too! (50% of TB clients are from FL). The FL governor may show up too, this is BIG! People are going to be interested in gambling, not reading, so keep it brief but forward as possible. Large type too. If you can't make it to Orlando, make up a flyer and scan it in for printing. I know people who offer free copies.

Hello Karen, thank you for asking. I normally do not divulge my protest secrets here, BUT, I will make a small exception in this case.
While these treatment people are rich and powerful, in my opinion, they are also very fragile. They base their methods on NAZI-like and COMMUNIST-like and total illegal methods when "treating" kids for drug usage. When one of them drinks one too many drinks at one of their parties, do they seek brainwashing and torture to "help" them stop abusing the alcohol? I doubt it. They probably laugh it off at another party the next night.
What will be done at this event will be something along the lines of THE ENLIGHTENMENT. Since the steps to the building are in front, there are only so many doors that can accomodate this crowd of people. Like a funnel, so to speak, these people HAVE to go through those doors. With people handing out flyers standing there at the doors and the steps leading up to them, there will be many people who will find out what the REAL DEAL is with SAFE, DFAF, Anchor Foundation, FAD, and any other Sembler Constituent like Jeb Bush, and the like. Imagine this: "Programs here, get your programs here, FREE!" :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Anyway, I find it strange that when it comes time to DO something, it gets real quiet. How many 5000 people audiences show up any other time? Never? This Orlando fundraiser (for the Abuse the Kids and Teach em a Lesson They'll Die Learning People) will set a precedent in this country that can only get worse. Why is it that SAFE, DFAF, (STRAIGHT, INC.) get proceeds from a million dollar in one night fundraiser? This is quite disgusting, in my opinion. It is more than a slap in the face to the survivors and former clients that are no longer with us. This event, if allowed to go unchecked by anyone, will ensure that the abusive drug treatment will continue to be available to kids, and families desperate to find help.
So far, I have not heard a lot of response about this topic. I am replying to my own posts, but, I talk to myself sometimes so it's OK :smokin:

Well Karen, there are alot of filthy rich people out there that have lots more clout with the "higher ups" than most of the former clients that were abused, so much more that it is difficult and frustrating to dismount these perpetrators. I am an eternal optimist though, so I believe that soon, BIG Government will have to make some serious changes. The treatment folks seem to have a fairly strong hold on policies and all that jazz. There are some of the programs Antigen mentioned that are in deep hot water right now and there will be more to come later on that... Check out isaccorp.com and thestraights.com for more info about what is happening to these programs, etc...
