" . . . .The inscription above the gate of Hell.  The Ante-inferno, where the shades of those who lived without praise and without blame now intermingle with the neutral angels.  He who made the great refusal . . . through me the way into the suffering city, through me the way to the eternal pain, through me the way that runs among the lost.  Justice urged on my high artificer; my maker was divine in authority, the highest wisdom, and the primal love.  Before me nothing but eternal things were made, and I endure eternally.

ABANDON EVERY HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE.

Canto III

May all those execs (and other deserving members) ROT in Hell where they belong - I would enjoy watching a few that I dealt with suffer in horrible pain for the rest of their lives! :flame:

Sammie,

You sound like a great person.
I've read many of your posts.
You express things that many of us still have a hard time talking about.
Posts like yours help people like myself and others get this stuff out, and hopefully collectively heal.

I wish you nothing but peace and love in life.

quddas,

we all vent here in our own ways.
I have always personally felt that this is a place for people who suffered there to try talk with others who understand, and hopefully get the M.I.'s flowing (sorry, couldn't help myself).
Seriously though, most come here just to talk about common experiences we shared, how we have fought (or not) through them, and how our lives are today.
Just please understand that alot of us are still suffering even 20 years later, no one we know around us physically has a clue, and alot of us live in alot of pain and are misunderstood.
We should not be told to just get over it - it's not that easy . . .

 Will try to make it.
Sounds like fun.
I think we were inprisoned in Richardson at the same time.
I live in Austin, but will try to make the trip up if work allows.
Have a great birthday - I stopped celebrating once I hit 30 :cry2:

Best wishes

Nicole, welcome to the forum  ::bigsmilebounce::

F.Y.I: This P.A. guy likes to come here and occasionally attack and insult other people's religous views. :scared:

I (and possibly others) have asked him to go join and/or create his own RELIGOUS website.  This site is primarily about drug rehabilitation victims, and describes the physical imprisonment and psychological torment that was inflicted upon us day after day.

Some more than others . . .

Hey Mo   J.Poirot, Mad Flyer, Carmel, Groovy(Lisa), and any others in Straight Richardson 86-87 can anyone remember a Preston K.?

I swear that name is ringing a huge bell, but I can't see the face . . .

Hi again,

I hope you find peace of mind and happiness in life.
Life is painful and full of hardships by definition.
At least that's how I've always felt.
Try to be positive and not let people get to you.

Like Morli said, if you need to get away from these posts, and they are resulting in more negative than positive - then you may not want to keep reading.  Keep in mind there are lots of us here who welcome you with nothing but kindness.

It is hard to be here sometimes - I experienced Hell in Straight, but have read much worse from others who've posted.
Horrible, cruel things.

Take care of yourself Thomas, and know that many of us here went through a lot of the same shit that you did.
We understand some of it, and are happy to take the time to listen . . . and care.

May you find peace and joy in a long life.
Email me any time you need someone to talk with - many of us here will listen and not judge.
David

Not again,

Anon -

Please stop posting your dogma here.
Nobody cares.

You really need to find a job or a hobby to occupy your time.

It is amazing to me that you take such an effort to post your rantings to people on this post who are just laughing at you.

I truly do feel sorry for you, because it is very obvious that you are a sad individual.

People here want to discuss their experiences (good or bad) in drug rehab. probrams.
Go start a religious post elswhere, and deal with your demons there.
Please. :scared:

Oh no, not you AGAIN - when I was trapped there.  Just reviewing some older postings . . .

I've read some really bizzare posts from you since I found this place, and have always wondered which Straight you fell so deeply in love with.
And then I discovered that we had in fact vacationed there together, and had a grand, bloody old time.

I cannot believe the extent to which those people seemingly still control your thought processes.
Simply amazing.  I'm truly sorry they still rule your life.

However, you saw with your own two eyes, and heard it with your own two ears - what happened to us.
How children were abused in so many damn ways.

To this day, it's in all of the survivors subconciousness'whether we like it or not.
Maybe you are still very afraid even to this day to face the pain and humiliation we suffered.  That's O.K.
Quite possibly they took away your ability to have any sort of real objectivity (and I don't mean based on objective reality).  Having interpersonal relationships is difficult for a lot of us here!

Hey everybody,

I'm still damn curious why it seems that every other Straight has all these people describing their ordeal on this forum, yet so few responses from the Texas locations.

Is there anybody out there? ? ?
(besides myself, Morli, and Rich)

Also, why does such an especially violent and cruel Straight (I'm sure there were worse ones) have so many former "clients," and yet only a few have posted on this board.

It troubles me.  It makes me wonder.

By the way, anyone with info. on the Tx. programs, I would love to read any documentation.

Peace you all.

Hi Thomas,

Hang in there - lots of survivors of "rehabs" here that are happy to take the time to listen and care.

In derilict sidings
The poppies entwine.
With cattle trucks lying in wait
for the next time.

Can't believe I found someone else who listens to Floyd's The Final Cut.  I've never met anyone else who owns that album.  Very depressing album - that's for sure - I know it's made me sad many a time.  Considering most of it refers to warfare and death, that's not very suprising.

Take care of yourself, man.

::stab::
And I'd be on death row - not a happy place in Texas.

This state executes more people each year than any other - check you Amnesty International books. :skull:

It's very disturbing that people were there for so many years - and we all know it's still happening today.  In some non-descript building that we may drive by every day. . .
