And we're just hearing of this now? Or did I miss this back in May? You had to figure the old bastard was on his last legs.
It's hard to revel in someones death. But how many of his victims did he manage to outlive?
Stack, why are you not all over this??  We're here and he's not!

My post above *is* the Obit. At least, the only one I could find... Click the link in my post above. You'll see.

There's another link there where you can leave Art some parting words for his Memorial, if you so wish. Oddly enough, I can't find a way to view the entries, or, perhaps, there simply aren't any.

Former Seed victims should protest the funeral, mock his death, put it on Youtube, and send the link to everyone working for or with current programs. Bonus points if you literally dance on his grave.

Thank you for taking the time to sign Arthur's memory book.

"Your condolence will be published as soon as the family has reviewed and approved".

As a thank you for remembering Arthur we'd like to offer you the opportunity to create a tribute for any of your loved ones who have passed away. Tributes.com has obituary records dating all the way back to 1932 that can be enhanced with memories, photos and music.

Title: Re: REJOICE and celebrate May 9, 2010

Yes, probably so.  He never acknowleded, even remotely, the real results of his "good works" and no one gets  an apology.

So what's left now?  Embrace the freedom this death brings.  Rejoice in the fact that you do not believe the lies.  Step outside, greet this new day, and be thankful.
That you are not required to repeat the past.
That you have the ability to think on your own.
That you did not drink the kool-aid.

I have no intention of letting Art Barker's chicken-shit deal with devil take up more time.  He's dead and now it's time redirect life force and work to prevent these programs.  Tell the truth.

I still can't seem to find a Ft.Lauderdale newspaper obit. It seems that the passing of a homegrown scoundrel wouldn't have gotten a line or 2? No tv? Are we sure this is even the right guy? Do you know how many Art Barkers there has to be?
Was barker Jewish? Them folks keep records.

When I was searching, I kept coming across links to Arthur R. Barker, favorite son of the infamous Ma Barker. Wrong time period, of course!  :D

Probably nobody asked for one, simple as that. I'm guessing they didn't want any splits, pulls or fuckups (i.e. the vast majority of) former Seedlings to turn up at the ceremony or the grave.

Pretty sure this is the same Art. St. Pete Times has his middle name as Robert
    http://ficanetwork.net/seed/art-barker- ... reactions/ (http://ficanetwork.net/seed/art-barker-the-seeds-chief-sows-a-mixed-crop-of-people-reactions/)
And several bios have his birth year as 1924

Of course, eventually somebody will ferret out the grave location if there is one. Never know. Might have been cremated and cast out to sea or something. But I'm guessing there's a grave with a pricey monument bearing some trite cult-speak somewhere around the Lauderdale area. I hope one day to honor the old dodger's memory with a bottle of the finest fortified Irish wine available, only after first running it through my own system to ensure purity.

A probated will is a public document. In Kentucky you can go to the web site and do a search and bring it right up. Might be interesting. Wonder if his victims can contest the will? Anybody got an active case against him?

    Local Cult leader Dies.

    Nothing.

Even if they hated him, this would have been news even only if in so. Fla, or maybe even St. Pete (he probably made some real good friends in Cleveland along the way)

We need to dig harder. THere has to have been a million old guys named Art or Athur Robert Barker!

Art wasn't that big a deal. For about 15 minutes back in the `70's, he was all over the news in the middle of controversey. But in the 20 or so years I lived down there, I often asked people if they had ever heard of the place. The only people who knew his name were former Seedlings and the only people who remembered anything about the Seed were former Seedlings and their close friends and families. And most of them didn't know much or have any interest in talking about it.

Fart Barker was a legend in his own mind.

When my dad died he actually got a 1/3 page above the fold with a pretty big picture. This was done by a reporter name Pierce, Rick Pierce if I'm not mistaken. He had covered some of my dad's years long fight with the US Postal Service. I thought I had a scanned image of that obit online but can't find it now.

Yes, exactly, who is deborah P. goodall.? my point to the fdle is that criminality was deep and wide.JUDGES, SCHOOLBOARDS, lawyers, both prosecution and defense, psychiatriasists, social workers,et al. Money always leaves a trail. Always. where does this trail lead? anyone curious? I am. I am not willing for art to be buried yet, he ain't done with this world yet! and those who aided and abetted him ain't done neither. My point of view. Reply, please, convince me otherwise.

When that link was first posted (http://http://www.fornits.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=30724#p367865) here, it actually contained more verbiage than it does now. But yeah, it's an obit/tribute site; you'd think it'd contain more.

Scrub scrub scrub. I imagine it may well all boil down to damage control/PR concerns.

It's also possible that there exists an option (on that website (http://http://www.tributes.com/show/Arthur-Barker-88571602)) for shielding obits from all but logged in viewers, perhaps even from all but certain pre-approved logged in viewers.

Who knows how much loot the man died with.  No public record? Not one line in the sun sentinel or the miami hearald. Shit he stayed in so. fla all his life after the seed "closed". I wonder if he got any $$$ from the semblers to walk away quietly. I remember back in the late 70's, there was a series of anti seed articles in the St. petersburg times,(my local paper). No luck searching them now.Us older folks are so much the victim of the anolog era.
