How many lameass wholesome songs do we have ingrained in our minds?I ask this question because today my eleven-year-old daughter, who attends an international school in my adopted homeland of Costa Rica,was going over the words of "Do-re-mi",from Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music".Now,I don't know about the rest of you kiddies,but as Woof and 85DJ can attest to,this was as much of a lunch or dinner time staple as stale bread and thinly sliced bologna during our tenures.Funny thing is,the song was probably dubbed in Spanish and the words were completely changed to make "Latin" musical sense.So,to complete this twenty minute flashback,I had to sing the original tune two or three times so she could hear the original English version.All I could think of was those hard chairs for the rest of the night.

For all of those who hate Wanda,let me say as one who knew her better than most,it wasn't completely her fault.As unqualified as the other staff was,she was the least qualified of all time.When a moron is told that they're brilliant,then given a position of authority over others,only disaster can follow.Somebody put the scissors in this idiots hand and told her to run full steam ahead.These are the people responsible for Wanda's actions.Some people saw this ignorant,belligerent fool as a tool for some other aim.Wanda was hardly qualified for a cashier's position in Wal-mart or as a line server at Morrison's Cafeteria.She was probably the last person who should have been making decisions impacting peoples'lives.Then again,I never had the pleasure of meeting Miller Newton nor Dean Mistretta.
