Title: Pathway Family Center and Mark Sembler
Post by: 12stepper on December 16, 2004, 03:24:00 PM
Hi:
I was in Pathway with Mark Sembler, Mel's grandson. If Mel thought the program was as bad as everyone is saying on this site, he wouldn't have sent his grandson there...don't you think. It seems that if Mel cares about his grandson and he doesn't want his grandson to be hurt, he wouldn't take the chance of putting his grandson in an "abusive" treatment center.

I am then assuming that Pathway Family Center is not as much of a threat as Straight. Was he oblivious to the borderline abuse that goes on there, or am I wrong in assuming that he didn't want his grandson hurt (who is know a "successful" graduate of the program).

Well, Mel Sembler also put his son through The Seed before founding Straight, Inc.

I think he's as thoroughly convinced of the goodness of this programs as Hitler was of the truth and rightness of the Third Reich or Stalin of the USSR or Castro of his benevolent dictatorship.
