Thanks! I never really thought about that. They may even have had the same rule in AARC, I can't remember. I just remember that with stuff with as much sugar as candy was rare (like halloween) and we weren't allowed caffiene until one of the later levels. Other rehabs I've been in didn't allow caffiene or sugar either. Personally I've found that lots of sugar HELPS with giving up other addictions. I quit smoking by eating tuns of candy until the first month or two were up. God bless fast metabolizm.

Why were sugar and white flower not allowed at synanon/straight/Kids? Is it a cocaine thing?
