Okay,I'll say it since Ginger ain't here yet. Some dumbo spammer / hacker was messing with the board earlier and that is prolly why it disappeared.

If I stay logged in I can't read all the posts for some reason. Hmmm are you staying logged out to not attain the status of "What is this outside you speak of". If I get that far I'm starting over with a new user name. :silly:

No, that's not why, i already have that status.

Oh so it's YOU then... hehehe is that why you asked what was wrong with the avatar???? I thought you were my other buddy.
So why don't some people go over to the Let it Bleed thread and post about their first time using drugs or having sex or something. God knows we all cried crocodile tears about those "terrible times in our druggie pasts". Isn't it time for all of us to tell the truth. lol.

So how can one send some without being intercepted? Just curious. Any suggestions? Anyone? I'll refrain from logging in on this one.
Disclaimer to snitches: I never said I was going to.

send it to ME first, then I'll send it to her. that'll work.

Tell us all how to do it. Your wish may come true.

send it in a non-descript padded envelope, wrapped several times in plastic. can you smell it? no? good. a reeturn address is a GOOD idea, so as not to rouse immediate suspicion, but make it a fake one..like of an empty house in your neighborhood, or someone that you REALLY don't like. send away.

Of course it's real. All real chemicals. Cheap beverages along with cheap food like bologna to keep the poor malnourished.

Holy shit! 5 pages already and it looks damned interesting. You'll excuse me for top posting like this.
I fucked up. That's all. Bill built a routine to blow out large numbers of spam or flooding by IP address. It set a flag on the thread, instead of just the post, that made it not show up in the regular index. I'm the beta tester and this was months ago.
I should fuck up more often. I can't wait to read...For myself, I do not believe in any revelation. As for a future life, every man must judge for himself between conflicting vague probabilities.

A turkey oven bag is the way to go. A regular baggie absorbs some of the smell into the plastic, which can tip off dogs or humans. The turkey oven bag won't absorb the smell.
As long as you're not doing major trafficking, you should be OK.

I was using the term, but really wasn't specifically thinking of the book at that moment. You could interchange the word with poor, disenfranchised, exploited, untouchable, oppressed, you get the idea.
If more people put away their percieved differences and cultural biases that have been instilled in all of us things may just change.

Of course I agree with you, but we were discussing the lack of quality concerning cool-aid.
I think that shelf-life has *everything* to do with the poor quality (added chemicals) of the product, and a lot LESS to do with a conspiracy to "keep the poor malnourished." I'm awake now.
-
I didn't arrange that second sentence right, but you get the idea.

A conspiracy to keep the poor malnourished is not so far fetched. Just take a stroll in any store that has exclusively organic food. How many poor people can afford to buy a pound of cherries for $10? Instead they have to shop at stores that have chemical laden foods. Even then the produce is not affordable. So now they are down to koolaid, hot dogs, and balogna. Throw in a bag of Better Made chips and it's a nutritionally deficient meal.
Grocery stores are participaters in classism. Just stroll through the one's in any poor section of town and view the spoiled meats and wilted produce to get an idea. Hell the grocery store in my neighborhood is still selling several year old cookies. When I drive to the city near me that has more people with higher incomes to shop I find all of the food to be a better quality and actually cheaper. Of course this is not scientific research here just some observations from my experiences.
Let me throw in another rant here. It really bugs me when people decide to donate food to food pantries and donate a bunch of damn beans. It's as if they think poor people deserve or like to eat just beans for that matter.

you get what you pay for, to be sure. organic food casts more for a few reasons, but not b/c of any conspiracy. why does it cost more? the crops cost more bcuz w/out pesticides a lot more spoils, and bcuz the 'lack' of pesticides effectuates a shorter shelf-life. what are the organic farmers supposed to do, just GIVE that shiznit away? IF more ppl bought organic, the price would come down. Supply and demand. That's what it's all about. to say tat grocery stores are "participaters in classism" is a bit of a stretch. maybe the help at those stores just sucks. how about that for an explanation?
ppl should have a lil more class w/ what they donate, granted.

"From the bottom of any large organization looking up through the ranks, human greed and stupidity look a lot like a conspiracy."
--S. Gilbert
It's not a conspiracy. Publix has better and cheaper stuff than Winn-Dixie because they have product better turnover, more shrewed customers (that's part of how they came to be affluent) and more competent and dedicated staff (cause the shrewd customers demand it). Winn-Dixie gets away w/ selling outdated, putrifying crap because, when it comes down to it, their customers either don't give a shit or don't have a car or both.
But it is a number of large oganizations made up of typically stupid, greedy people.
Why has Monsanto developed seed stock that will not set fruit unless the farm hands spray it w/ a particular patented chemical at the proper time in the growing season? Read up on the term "terminator seed" for a front rown showing of extreme greed and stupidity on all sides of the issue.
One nice thing about getting out of the city is that good, wholesome, natural food will not likely ever be a big problem. People around here who are not too poor to buy prepared meals exclusively are still thrifty enough and prescient enough to patronize the local farmers' markets and roadside stands.
I cannot see how a man of any large degree of humorous perception can ever be religious -- unless he purposely shut the eyes of his mind and keep them shut by force.

A conspiracy to make a buck at any cost  I like that quote you used btw, but still can't help but question why there are so many inequities.
I'm disturbed by the "franken food" industry myself. I have a friend that had started her own nonprofit where she's teaching low income persons gardening and helping get community gardens started in urban areas. A great start to bringing power back to the people.
Same idea different scam:

This is cool. (the education/gardening thing). But will it ever be enough to sustain people?
Usually grocery store chains won't even have stores in the inner city anymore.
I remember an article in the DC City Paper a few years ago about Giant foods. The reporter did some digging and actually saw fresher produce being diverted to wealthy suburban stores and the older stuff and leftover going right to the urban areas.

Um, well think about that for a minute. Can a food production and distribution system that seems to be breaking down after only around 100 years be called sustainable?
Yeah, I think we could probably survive if we had to go back to the old ways of doing things. But not if we insist on staying piled all on top of each other in cities. I think it's time we took Moe's advice and S P R E A D O U T ! ! !Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?" Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night."

It's a start and it's one way for people depending on food stamps to not have the system control them. It's one "asset" the govt can't use as a means test for help. BTW come Oct there may be a 7% cut in food stamps should the govt have it's way.
