You'd think with all the data they collected on us, which included our birthdates, we would AT LEAST have gotten one postcard-type birthday greeting over the years, don't you?

But maybe it's the Internment Anniversery postcard I've been waiting for. I heard that The Seed's R&D deparment developed a card with a small digital player hidden inside repeatedly playing the ear-worm tune of the whole darn hand-holding group singing

Hap-py-an-ni-ver-ser-y
Hap-py-an-ni-ver-ser-y
Hap-py-an-ni-ver-ser-y
Haaaaaaa-pyanniversry.
HAPPY ANNIVERSERY, KEVIN! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

I guess mine got lost in the mail...

But they said they loved us all unconditionally. And we know that honesty was the first and most important rule, right? Or was it the most impotent rule?

No.  That's Kevin Toomey. I'm not him, but I did know him.  Regret to inform you that he died several years ago.

Nah, I don't think they didn't like me. Although that might be a nice way to view it if I was stil interested in persecuting myself.

I think it's more like no one there really knew me.  I was simply another face in the crowd - another notch on the belt of success, if you will. Afterall, not everyone is destined for greatness.  Sometimes we just get the privilege of living an a private life.
