Title: Does Fornits accomplish anything?
Post by: RobertBruce on March 10, 2007, 10:14:40 AM
There are some new trolls on Fornits who claim we don't accomplish anything here. This troll who enjoys carrying on long conversations with himself has claimed fornits is only for discussion and that we have stiffled even that by curbing Cindy's incessant trolling.

So the question stands do we accomplish anything here?

My vote is yes we do, just ask Bucci how he feels about fornits and that should give you a pretty clear idea of all that we do here.

If you want to shut down ASR, go fucking do something about it and don't waste your time on this forum. This forum IS NOT A TOOL FOR SHUTTING DOWN PROGRAMS. It is a discussion forum.

Why does everyone get so upset when they realize this?

Yes, without Fornits and especially MGDP I would have sent my son blindly to a program, not knowing what on earth I was sending him into - again because of MGDP I was forced to re-look the home situation, my relationship with my kids and move on from the past, one kid saved, thanks

uh oh, a entire family that was helped by Fornits, an Milk specifically. I guess that could serve as an example of the good that does come out of fornits, or better put the things we accomplish.

Does your endless trolling of TheWho accomplish anything?

That's a big fucking NOPE.

Another person helped. Wow, that can't look good for your cause.

I wonder though if your analogy of us believing ourselves to be the "life blood" of the teen industry is accurate. I personally view us as the cancer of the teen industry, and it looks like we're the terminal kind.

Also I wonder if you understand that both discussion and networking can take place at the same time?

Oh and would you mind picking a user name? I know it will take away from your ability to talk to yourself but it makes conversating easier. Maybe something like...meat puppet or angry lap dog. Something along those lines would be apropo.

When was that question posted? I try not to avoid any questions, as I'm not like you or Cindy both of you being afraid of the truth and all.

In any event the answer to your question is I've never trolled Cindy. My badgering Cindy and proving him wrong all the time exposes him for what he is, a troll who wants to see these kids suffer. When parents see what Cindy really is and how he has no credibility they skip right over him. Which is exactly what we want.

RB, you see.. your scientific poll here does not take into account all the parents who came to fornits, had a read around, were completely DISGUSTED what what they read, and sent their kid away anyways.
Are you saying that these parents do not exist or this doesn't happen? It happens a hell of a lot more than exhausted's situation transpires. You want to know how many emails I've gotten from parents like this?
You people are delusional if you think fornits is helping kids from being sent away, only. It also plays a role in kids getting sent away because of the stupidity, irrelevancy and immaturity. Chew on that for a while.

Does the lady that Milk told in detail about her kid committing murder against her, can she vote in this too?

They would have skipped right over it if it doesn't get refreshed every day to the top of the stack. You just can't admit that you post out of hate, spite and a need to be right.. just like TheWho. You try and put a moral spin on it. I see right through it buddy. There ain't no moral high ground here.

Need to be right? Nah. We are  right, these places abuse kids, plain and simple.

As to hating Cindy, its not the case at all. I think left unchecked he is dangerous, and I view him as a bit of a joke, but I don't hate him.

Oh and youre wrong about my refreshing Cindy's septic tank. Or did you miss when he reposted the same numbers 300 times in a row?

Honestly though enough about him, if you want to discuss Cindy do so on the Cindy septic tank thread. This thread is set up to discuss whether or not Fornits accomplishes anything.

Now in a span of about a half an hour weve had three people state that fornits and specific posters helped them and their families, I mentioned how Buchi might respond if you asked him whether or not Fornits accomplishes anything.

Now what are your thoughts?

I know there are parents who send their kids away even though they are made fully aware of what could happen, you are absolutely right about this.....but i do think they do it because they just don't feel there's any other option for their child or their family as a whole, if there was more support from outside agencies in the home it could be a different story

I am only one parent who researched and researched thanks to Milk's damnation of me, isn't one child a cause for celebration? It's one child less who got sent to a program, if I'd got back a stepford kid, what's to say I wouldn't have sent the youngest too? I'm sure I would have done, because they can fix ADHD can't they? They all claim to be able to ....... Fornits saved more than one kid in one family I am almost certain of this.......just to add, the kids weren't just saved from going to programs, I was forced to rethink what the hell was going on in my household and we all took a good look at ourselves, we aren't individuals going our own way but living under the same roof anymore, we are a family who actually pull together for each other, that was more than I could ever have hoped for, I never thought it would go any further than just surviving the battle until they all moved out to make their own way

everyone here remmeber leslie, i think her name was? who actually was naive enough to think that the posters of fornits had her kids best interest in mind, and not to hurt her and make her feel like shit for a decision she had made or might make...

Quote

And he's going to wake you up by putting his hands around your neck and digging his thumbs into your throat as hard as he can. Just like on TV, Leslie. You'll wake up with no air, no air at all. You'll look, pleading, into his eyes and all you'll see is his grin, that malevolent grin that will haunt you for the rest of your very short life.

And when he's finally done and your corpse lies in your bed as if you were simply asleep, he's going to get some mashed-together duct tape or some heavy twine, hook it to the ceiling, and make it look like you killed yourself.

It won't work, of course. The police will find his thumb indentations sufficient evidence to get him to confess. But when he does go, he'll go with a smile on his face, because he finally managed to get you out of his life

so how does a desperate parent feel when an online bad ass entity, which they probably actually buy into, says these kinds of things?

take your self congratulations and throw it out the window. 95% of the time parents are disgusted and walk right out the door of this forum into the waiting arms of ST or programs. even if you believe i am a programmie, surely you must understand that this argument makes more sense than the one that milk is a hero.

In my book people who are trying to help kids do not verbally attack parents like this. would you do this in real life Milk, would you say these things to a mother's face? then why on the internet? pelase explain it to me.

Fornits is about lots of things -- shutting down programs, survivors sharing experiences with each other, or just getting things off your chest.

Rarely is it about saving kids from programs and rarely is it about educating parents so they don't make that mistake.

I suspect many parent do get that education here, and maybe lots of kids have been spared the program experience because of that. But those parents are probably just Fornits readers -- they know better than to become Fornits posters.

I agree many of the posters on fornits do not have the kids best interest in mind. Posters like you and Cindy could give a shit about these kids, other posters like Milk and Deb are very concerned about the wellbeing of these kids.

Quote
and not to hurt her and make her feel like shit for a decision she had made or might make...

So it's okay to make teens feel like shit and call it a "wake up call" but parents are immune to this?

Again I was not privy to the conversation so I do not know all the circumstances.

Actually it doesn't. We both have here in front of us a parent stating outright that Milk and fornits saved her son from being sent to a program. On the opposite side we have nothing from anyone stating, "I made the decsion to send my kid to a program because of what I saw on fornits."

Can you provide any such posts?

This is probably the best post I've seen on the subject.

Of course parents aren't going to like it. They're not supposed to like it, and every prospective program parent I scare off, I chalk up as a victory. This is a forum about child torture. And there is no way in hell that any kind of majority of parents are going to read the shit posted here- especially not ZenAgent's, Jesus fuck- and say "well, the posters there are so nasty, they must be wrong, I'm going over to ST and the ed-cons"... no no no. Human beings do not work that way. The more likely reaction will be "Holy shit, this whole business is surrounded in lies and hatred, get me the hell out, I never want to even think about doing this to my kid". Don't pretend it's anything else.

The reason I post with a free hand around here is simple: nothing that I can possibly type could conceivably be nastier than the main subject of Fornits. Even if I were to publish a 20-page diatribe on how much I want to boil programmies in their own blood (mmm, now I'm hungry), or post some /b/tard's idea of a motivational poster (that would be the Patience one on the HLA board), if I offend you more than just one kid being sleep-deprived at night and restrained for hours during the day, that represents some seriously skewed values on your part.

People, you're on the Internet, and you can turn me off. That puts you two great leaps ahead of all the kids who are prevented from touching so much as a telephone, and can't make the sadist in front of them stop yelling at them about how bad they are.

As to providing letters and pictures/video-well cameras of any kind werent normally allowed while we were being abused, silly rule I know. Okay so according to you it's acceptable during "honest intellectual debate" to make claims as evidence of something but then refuse to back up those claims or provide evidence.

Got it.

Is that you under there Cindy? If not you two sure do share the same philosphy. That of course being that your own claims need never be backed up, your own word will do. Other peoples claims has to be irrefutable and even then generally is dismissed.

For example you asked me to provide proof of kids being abused in programs.

Here you go,

http://www.fornits.com/index.php (http://www.fornits.com/index.php)

Hundreds of pages of testimony from kids stating they were abused in their respective programs

http://www.isaccorp.org/documentsam.asp (http://www.isaccorp.org/documentsam.asp)

Multiple listings of kids being killed and or abused in their respective programs.

Most of the cases cited on the secondary link have articles along with them, be sure to read them all.

Once thats done I'm sure you'll dismiss them but the facts will remain the same.

So block out part of the contact information, I mentioned this to you before but I guess you werent paying attention. As to why I dont post my letters and pictures, no one but you and Bullfrog have ever asked. I told her essentially the same thing I'm telling you, I'll provide them once I see you back up your own claim. For Bullfrog it was claims she had pictures of all the kids being allowed to go sledding. Something that didnt occur to often at HLA. She refused to provide her pictures and so when she asked me to provide mine I in turn refused. Same thing with you, youve made a claim you arent willing to back up. Once you do I'll be glad to provide what youre asking for.

It would be funny just to see him stumble over himself wondering what to do next.

I'll give him a chance to back up his own claims and then go from there.

By the way, who do you think our mystery guest is? Since he claims to have emails from fornits posters (assuming he isnt lying) that would suggest he has had a user name.

Whoever it is he was apparently burned by us a in bad way. There's alot of anger in there.

I've had e mails from parents both at ST and here trying to make sense of it all (no I am NOT posting them!) alot of the parents who have been round Fornits have said they've been scared away because it's fairly aggresive here, which is why i always jump on anyone giving posters a hard time, but we've been there before

Slightly off topic, the post including this

http://www.isaccorp.org/documentsam.asp (http://www.isaccorp.org/documentsam.asp)

Is your government blind or something? How many times does this have to happen before everything has to be regulated?

Even Private schools here are government regulated, there has to be a certain curriculum, and there is no way the abuse would be left to carry on if this sort of stuff was going on (Private schools here are quite abusive between children) the schools would be shut down immediately and a huge investigation would go on, every school in the country would be investigated to mke sure it never happened again

Again slightly off topic, how comes people recoil in horror when they see PETA videos? Why the outrage towards bad treatment of the pet dog, yet when it's the family child, it's okay, because it's for 'their own good'

By the way, who do you think our mystery guest is? Since he claims to have emails from fornits posters (assuming he isnt lying) that would suggest he has had a user name.

Whoever it is he was apparently burned by us a in bad way. There's alot of anger in there.

I'm not sure he/she said that he/she had emails from fornits posters, just emails from parents offended by fornits posters.

My impression is that our guest is an EdCon, and probably one not in the business very long, or they wouldn't have bothered to post here.  Or, perhaps, an EdCon that has been recently profiled in said forum?

While everyone else was telling my wife and I that we couldn't get our daughter out of PV, not even with "a million dollars and Johnny Cochran back from the grave" as one local mental health care provider put it, we got information, contacts, and most importantly moral support from Fornits.  Without a place for discussion, no grassroots movement can be effective.  Our daughter is out of an abusive program, and I credit Fornits as being one of the key players in bringing her home.  What other proof is necessary that Fornits has a huge effect?

Fornits is open and anonymous, no IP addresses posted here.  You get all viewpoints.  Know of any pro-teen industry forums with that policy?  It stinks of naked fear and NeoCon censorship.  The more trolls that post here shows that Fornits is shaking them up and they lash out with illogical attacks that run on for ages.  They're motivated by money, which is a powerful incentive, but we're motivated by anger at a vicious, sadistic system of child torture and murder.

I don't think so, why would parents come on here and then report back to an ed con?

Exhausted I wouldn't ask you to post your emails, I agree things of that nature should be kept private. I only asked him to do it because he made the claim as evidence of his position and asked me if I wanted to know how many he had recieved.

I guess he didnt think I would actually ask.

Right on the money. How many of us have been banned from ST for posting the truth about these places? How quickly are dissenting posts removed from the hla forums board?

Fornits allows the truth to come to light and even gives the program puppets a chance to make their case. It isnt our fault that none of them can manage to do so.

I will take that as a 'no', you do not understand the premise of honest intellectual debate.
Prove to me that kids are being abused in programs right now. I'll be waiting here with my coffee.

Oh, get off the holier-than-thou kick. You're not 'debating'. You're bitching and whining, and trolling RB in the same manner you criticize him for trolling Who. What are YOU accomplishing?
Based on what I've seen the last couple of months, Who's agenda to divide and conquer is working quiet well.

Back to the topic... There is no forum, law, or action that will 'shut down the industry'. That's a pipe dream. People here know that. We're not ignorant. We do what we can.
But fornits has been instrumental in bringing many groups of people together who have been successful at shutting down 'some' programs, preventing 'some' programs from opening with protests, has prevented 'some' parents from sending their kids away, forming groups that have brought lawsuits, provided a venue for survivors to find old friends, and has served to expose when programs are abusive and/or operating outside the law; among other things.
AND THAT'S ENOUGH !!!

If you don't know this, you're not paying attention or perhaps you hold this opinion because you haven't been here long enough to notice. Dig through the archives.

And if you're so fucking miserable and dislike it so much, WHY ARE YOU HERE? Go away. To some place you feel is more productive. Oh yeah. There is no other place. Guess we're stuck with being the sounding board for your misery and disdain.

Is that your way of saying you've been owned but youd rather not go into it?

Its okay we understand.

So about those emails any chance youre going to back up your own claim?

Or how about just answering a few of those questions put to you?

If not I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the fact that this thread has been up since this morning and so far youre the only one who seems to think Fornits doesnt accomplish something in terms of working against the Teen help industry.

Why is that?

Doesn't matter how old he is, that's the typical program puppets mentality.

Thanks Sport, you just cost your people another dozen right there.

Fornits made me aware of an industry which i did not know existed. i learnt that in the most rich powerful democracy in the western world it was perfectly legal to incarcerate a child indefinitely without trial.

It makes more sense if you quote me in full.

Basically, many of your posts are so detailed and factual that no one- except people who are already programmies- can read them and even consider getting involved in this business.

That whole "jumped on by five goons" plus the rampant restraint tends to be a liiiiittle disturbing.

I feel a lot better than I did a year ago, thanks to Fornits.

So do I.  Sure fornits does not directly affect programs, but the people on Fornits DO.  In  my case, for instance, I prefer not to publicly share the details of what I am doing to shut down a certain program because I don't want to tip them off.  Without Fornits I'm not sure I would have been able to find the people I have, who have proved invaluable to my work (you know who you are).

Whoever claims Fornits does nothing... pah!  Yeah, so stop bitching, get off your ass, and be one of the Fornits posters who actually does something about it.  What the fuck else would you suggest people do?!?!  Fornits is about archival, discussion, information, survivors stories, and networking.

In my case, it helps me come to terms with the past, figure out what was done to my head, undo that damage, talk about it, and feel better about myself.  Sure i could just sit with my thumb up my ass like a lot of other people...  I realize some people find it painful to talk about, but at least in my case, i feel better... especially that i'm actually doing something to help others.  Convince a parent not to imprison a kid and see how you feel.  Don't you with somebody would have done the same for you.  In a sense.. I suppose I am setting myself free, and breaking down chains in my mind I never knew were there.
