wow.. that must have been interesting...

I love the dialogue that went on between angry person and protester. Very telling of the KHK mentality.. opposition to the program implies you are all druggie scum!

Kids Helping Kids- A Pathway Family Center was once again protested on Friday Sept. 26, 2008 by a mixture of child advocates ranging from age 12-40 something.

Twelve people attended Fridays Protest.  There were four actual survivors of the "abusive treatment modality" on hand, as well as, two protesters from the Indianapolis branch of Pathway Family centers.  One of the protesters from PFC INDY was a survivor and the other was an ex-program parent.  They both held signs that stated which branch they are from and one spoke out by commenting to carpools of program parents and staff leaving the program, "Free the newcomers!".
Pathway Family Centers called the Miami township police again to no avail because all protesters were simply complying with the law, and were well within their rights to exercise freedom of speech.  Protesters against the treatment modality of Pathway Family Centers are gaining momentum, and growing in numbers.  Apparently, according to one protester, the child advocates have been contacted by numerous survivors recently.  This only proves that at the very least something is amiss with Pathway Family Centers and the way in which they conduct their business in regards to children.  It has also come to my attention that a new movement within the protests is building.  Actual teenagers that have not been through anything like this, and that have never tried any drugs actually attended this protest and are committed to keep protesting Pathway Family Centers.  Their ages range from 12-17, and they have stated that they are not going away from this issue any time soon, and are also committed to encouraging other teenagers to join them in the fight against abuse/torture of children, and children's rights in general. There were five teenagers that attended this protest and they will be back again and again.

The protest was a success as always, and there will be more in the future so stay tuned.

YOU are one of my heroes. And that's a tough list to make considering it consist of George Patton, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Blackjack Pershing. Odd list I know, but this is me, and we both know I'm a bit odd.

Monday, September 29, 2008- KIDS HELPING KIDS ( A PATHWAY FAMILY CENTER) PART TWO ACT 3

Protesters assembled with their signs held up in front of, on either side of the driveway, and also across the
street from the driveway at 6070 Branch hill-guinea Pike in Milford, Ohio once again in a back to back weekend protests.
This makes it three protests in a row against Pathway Family Center for the month of September alone.  This, combined with the protesters resolve of having now protested this program for 13-14 consecutive months.  Eight protesters showed up at the above mentioned address at approximately 6:30 p.m.  Monday evening and did not leave until 9:15 p.m..
The director of the program left fifteen minutes after the protesters arrival.  The younger protesters from an earlier protest on Friday came to this protest, as well, and are still committed to attending more.  One young teenage protester stated, "We are not going away anytime soon!", with much enthusiasm.  Monday night parent rap ended early for some unknown reason.  Protesters witnessed cars pulling out of the programs parking lot at 8:45 p.m. on Monday evening. Protesters also are reporting that the program now turns their front room lights out while people are protesting and that this is a new occurrence for the program.  One adult survivor of the place stated, "It makes you wonder what they are hiding". all together eight people showed up at this event and it was a success had by all who attended.  The protesters all agree that they are not going away anytime soon, and will be there holding signs for as long as it takes.  The child advocates are extremely dedicated to exposing the program for the abusive tactics and inadequate treatment modality that it employs.

Ironically, this makes it easier for those inside to see outside.  Bring lights to shine on your signs.
