You think contacting the ASTART lady might help? She may have some good info on how to keep the school district from forcing this mum's child into an rtc.

Yeah, I had zeroed in on the Straights specifically SAFE. Some page I was on had a link to a "survivors message board" which turned out to be fornits. Lord I will never forget those early days, it was like stumbling into someone else's nightmare. I swear my respect for humanity dropped every few hours cause every few hours I would read about some unbelievable display of depravity that just blew my mind.

I lurked for awhile before I posted. I honestly couldn't make sense of what I was reading at first. It seemed like a lot of inside jokes and outright nonsense, but I stayed and realized that I just came on a bad day. It was apparently an all out trollathon. After awhile I got into the swing of things and realized what a goldmine of info this place was, lucky me....

Nathan Ybanez did time at a christian boot camp in Missouri (dunno which one) sometime before beating his mother's skull in with a fire poker at age 16.

That is trouble, talk about bad combination....

Does anyone know if she was taken back home against her will, ala escort company?

A matter of semantic.
Craig Akers stated in the 15 minute video interview that they had police back up in the event that their efforts failed and she attempted to run.
They claim she returned willing based on her grandmother's failing health and her family's promise that she wouldn't have to return to Island View.
Hope that will be the case, or that they don't have another program lined up. They wouldn't technically be breaking a promise if they sent her elsewhere.

This girl is only 15, she's doomed...

For audio production a free tool that's available is audacity, which you can use to record your audio. To make it into a podcast you will need to upload the mp3 file you make with audacity to a website and then create an rss file that will contain information about the podcast: Like the title, description, location of the actual mp3 file, etc.. After you make sure the rss file is correct you upload it to a website and that's what folks add to their podcast downloading software. I don't know how to make an rss file so I can't help there, but I know audio so if you need any help with that let me know.

Art is a good way to convey a complex idea/statement in a simple and easy to understand way. I do sound art which tends to be very avant-garde. I've only made one piece that others would be able to link with something real, Katrina. Videos like this one is a good example of art that is both informative and entertaining. But anyway, art can be a powerful tool blah, blah, blah.............
