Interesting topic. My daughter maintained her normal weight. But, she did gripe about the food ... alot. Of course, she is the world's fussiest eater. ::bangin:: The facility where she was employed trained chefs. So by my standards the food was good ...
Many girls did drop some excess weight in her program but ... in a lot of instances you saw weight loss because they didn't have access to fast food and junk food. Junk food was a treat. Kids today (Americans today) consume WAY too much garbage food. Our waists certainly reflect this.
One of the very few benefits that my daughter got from being in her program was a new comfort with her own body. Being removed from the 'hypersexual' high school environment gave her some time to learn to be OK with her healthy ... although not rail thin .... body type.
