J Lott is a good person, someone who I really admired and who I could talk honestly to.  The person that started this thread is really sad and assuming you knew him, did you forget how much he did for the kids stuck at HLA?  What about the soup kitchen trips on Fridays?  I would have gone fucking insane if I wasn't able to get off campus and go on some of those service trips he facilitated.

I'm Hidden Lake Academy Alumni and when I started posting on this board I noticed a Thayer forum.  A very good friend of mine was at Thayer several years ago and she told me some pretty bad things about the place like they pulled her hair back in a ponytail and chopped it all off.  Mainly just invasive and inappropriate things like such.  I haven't talked to her in over a year and I don't really think she would appreciate me calling to ask about her Thayer experience but my main question is what's so bad about this place?  Sorry about  my ignorance.
