By the way, AARC's own version of Lulu Corter resurfaced a while ago.  Admitted into AARC as a twelve-year-old, held almost two years and then ran prior to graduation.

Saddly there are a few of these children, 12 yrs old who were falsely labeled as addicts, held captive for many months, brainwashed and institutionalized. My greatest shame is participating and being a party to this crime.

I certainly hope AARc is properly audited and exposed.

Watch for "20 Year" celebrations as they opened the building in 1992 and took their first inmate in April. I am sure the media will be slobbering over their "success". Doubt I'll get an invite  :cry:

Anthony Congo, the first graduate of AARC died this month. He was a great guy and had a terrible battle with mental illness and hardcore drug use.

I for one would contribute to a defense fund. AARC does not need to win a lawsuit, but can bankrupt  with lawyers fees just about anyone. That is how they roll. However, they must be nervous about the fact that in the discovery portion of a suit, their files would be opened. I doubt they want that.

I couldn't agree more. I see graduates at meetings, or hear the cultspeak about defects, and not getting it, and their sponsor who works at AARC who tells them they are not grateful and need to give back to AARC - BLAH BLAH BLAH. The problem is the folks who are driven nuts by AARC people stay quiet. A number applaud them and gush over them. it is bizarre.

Ajax, your opinion is well taken.  It seems there are 2 people yourself and anonAARCGrad who feel this way.  If you bother to read the news articles and speak with the journalists you will find out that the connection to AARC just inst relevant.  The guy held multiple positions prior to moving (not just AARC).  There is no motivation on the journalists part to try to connect Evans motive to any one job he held in the past.  Why would they try to do this?  This is unclear.
Again you are entitled to your opinion but the people investigating just dont see it the same way you do.  When I say we I am referring to myself , the journalists and the people who are intimate with the investigation. If you have any facts to present then toss them on the table and we can take a look.  But the facts stake up differently than your beliefs.  Sorry I cant agree with you on this one.

If Evans was a lone abberation, perhaps you would be correct. But their are a series of murderers and thugs who are graduates of AARC who were pretty normal teenagers prior to going into AARC. believe me, there are more than 2 people looking into this coincidence.
